Hey, I am Tara faith led wellness coach who loves an addict. I spent nearly 20 years trying to fix my loved one while neglecting myself.
I failed at setting boundaries for myself out of fear and guilt . I used chronic dieting and binge eating to cope with a situation that I could not control. I was ignoring many signs my body was giving me that it was burnt out. I did not feel that anyone understood what I was going through.
My body began to rebel against everything I was doing and I finally realized that loving him did not mean I needed to neglect myself.
I shifted my focus to my health and wellness. I learned to listen to my body., fuel and move my body for energy and stress management. I leaned on scripture and most importantly I set boundaries for myself that were not always easy but were critical for my well being.
If you are ready to cope with your loved ones addiction by setting healthy boundaries, learn to nourish and move your body to reduce the stress that it is under, lean on scripture, and understand the importance of focusing on your health and wellness.

We’re often taught that history’s written by the winners. But we’d like to argue that, in fact, it’s the losers who end up making history.
In this brand new series from Dan Jones and Elizabeth Day, History’s Greatest Fails aims to answer the simple, but complex, question: Why do losers make history?
From Richard III, to Vincent Van Gough, to the purposefully forgotten female Pharaoh Hatshepsut, this series is going to help you better understand how the idea of failure changes over time, and what lessons failure has for all of us.
Dan and Elizabeth are old friends, fellow history graduates, and fellow authors and podcasters.
Dan Jones is host of This Is History — A Dynasty to Die For, a narrative podcast that charts the bloody and complex drama of England’s Plantagenet dynasty, now up to its 10th season.
Elizabeth is host of How To Fail, a podcast that has brought together hundreds of luminaries and thinkers including Kate Winslet, Yuval Noah Hariri, and Malala Yousafzai, to reflect on failure in the present.
Over six episodes, History’s Greatest Fails will dissect failure of all kinds, from troubled historical rulers, to the failures of remembrance, to the failures that have created the happy accidents that last for generations.
As always, Dan’s royal favourites can chime in anytime on the royal court on Patreon at patreon.com/thisishistory. And for the bonus episodes of this series, Dan and Producer Al are hearing from the favourites directly — join us as they discuss the royal favourites’ special fail mentions.
So, join us for the debut episode of History’s Greatest Fails.

This is the Gnostic Library, where we reveal the secret doctrine and Divine Mysteries, which will open the doors for us to experience, through our own experience, who we are and why we are here.
Gnosis is a true scientific school of initiation into life, which pursues a transformation of the human being. This is the transcendental and transformative wisdom that we find in the Mysteries of Mithras, Eleusis, Isis, in Pythagoreanism, in Hermeticism, in Egyptian and Tibetan books. Gnostic wisdom studies Science, Art, Philosophy, and Mysticism. -

Beyond Vanilla is a podcast for honest, thoughtful conversations about intimacy, relationships, desire, and sexuality in the places the church often avoids.
Rooted in a Christian worldview, this podcast creates space to talk about the real questions people carry but rarely voice. Desire. Connection. Power. Boundaries. Healing. Marriage. Singleness. Faithfulness. Failure. Growth. What it means to live with integrity in both body and belief.
Beyond Vanilla is not about shock, provocation, or abandoning faith. It is about maturity. About moving past shallow answers and learning how intimacy, attachment, and sexuality actually shape our relationships with God, ourselves, and others.
Drawing from psychology, lived experience, and spiritual wisdom, each episode explores how people can build deeper connection, healthier intimacy, and more honest relationships without shame, secrecy, or silence.
This is a space for believers who are tired of platitudes and ready for real conversations. A place where faith and desire are not enemies, and where growth begins with truth.
Because spiritual maturity does not come from avoidance.
It comes from understanding what we were never taught to talk about.
