Konst – Estland – Rekommenderade podcasts

  • The official podcast for HATCH Conference, where we chat with the speakers presenting on October 6th about design, life lessons and other topics.

  • The Be. Make. Do. podcast inspires artists of faith by diving into the big - and sometimes controversial - questions that come with pursuing the artist’s calling. Artists are culture makers. But many Christians in the arts feel isolated and conflicted about their call. That’s why we’re starting this conversation - to help you find clarity and confidence. So, be encouraged. And become who you were created to be, make what you were created to make, and do what you were created to do.

Join host Lisa Smith as she poses questions, shares stories, and great conversation with artists, theologians, creatives and friends about the call of the artist in the world.

  • Welcome to 'The British Food History Podcast': British food in all its (sometimes gory) glory with Dr. Neil Buttery. He'll be looking in depth at all aspects of food with interviews with special guests, recipes, re-enactments, foraging, trying his hand at traditional techniques, and tracking down forgotten recipes and hyper-regional specialities. He'll also be trying to answer the big question: What makes British food, so...British?

Nimi KultuuriReflektor on põnev sõnamäng.

Podcasti algusmuusika autor on Zane Dombrovska.

*ENG: Cultural Reflector is a bilingual initiative run by the Cultural Management MA programme of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. The jingle is composed by Zane Dombrovska. For more information, or if you want to suggest a topic for discussion, please contact [email protected].

  • Every creative work you’ve ever loved has a hero’s journey behind it. On Spark & Fire, you'll hear creators tell the story of bringing one beloved work to life.

Iconic creatives — like Wicked composer Stephen Schwartz, Pixar director Domee Shi, comedian Patton Oswald, musician Wynton Marsalis, and novelist Isabel Allende — share the endless iterations, the inevitable setbacks, and the breakthrough ideas along the epic process of creation. But this isn’t an interview show. It’s a story — told entirely in the artist's own words.

With host June Cohen, co-founder of WaitWhat and the former executive producer of TED Talks.

Transcripts and images for every episode are available at sparkandfire.com

  • The Pleasurable Ecologies – Formations of Care podcast is a series of conversations with artists and activists across Ireland, Finland and the UK, presented by artist, writer and pleasure activist Ama Josephine Budge as part of her Frame Curatorial Research Fellowship with Frame Contemporary Art Finland and EVA International – Ireland’s Biennial of Contemporary Art.

The four-episode podcast will explore topics of pleasure, care and rest at the intersections of art, activism and ecology. Within these transoceanic localities, the episodes are working to become in and of themselves sites for recuperation, reflection and possibly even healing. All four episodes will be released during autumn 2021 and spring 2022. The launch of the first episode 30 October 2021 coincides with 39th EVA International’s Phase Three programme.

Ama Josephine Budge (she/her/hers) is a Speculative Writer, Artist, Curator and Pleasure Activist whose work navigates intimate explorations of race, art, ecology and feminism, working to activate movements that catalyse human rights, environmental evolutions and troublesomely queered identities. Ama is a PhD candidate in Psychosocial Studies with Dr Gail Lewis at Birkbeck, University of London. Her research takes a queer, decolonial approach to challenging climate colonialism with a particular focus on inherently environmentalist pleasure practices in Ghana and across the Black diaspora.

  • On this show, you'll hear from Lena and guests on the ways in which they said 'YES' to themselves—in the action they took, even when they were afraid, or the inaction taken because that's what was needed at the time.

Starting the business, trying something new, navigating your next chapter...because even though there will never be another YOU, there are others who have felt the way you feel and who've experienced what you have. And by listening to their paths, you'll gain connection, clarity and wisdom. Here's to supporting one another and trusting in joy!
