Abstraction, peinture, architecture, Méditerranée, sciences, photographie sont autant de sujets reliés à deux artistes : Anna-Eva Bergman (1909-1987) et Hans Hartung (1904-1989). Figures artistiques majeures du XXe siècle, ils laissent des traces chez leurs contemporains… et bien au-delà !
C’est l’histoire d’un couple, de deux vies qui vont se rencontrer, se séparer pour mieux se retrouver et s’épanouir. En 1973, ils s’établissent à Antibes dans une villa-atelier qu’ils ont entièrement pensée et conçue comme leur lieu de vie et de travail, abritant un nombre exceptionnel d’œuvres et d’archives et devenue aujourd'hui une fondation.
Quels sont les regards passés et présents portés sur Hans Hartung et Anna-Eva Bergman ? Comment leurs œuvres traversent-elles les époques ? Qui était ce couple à la vie aussi dramatique qu’extraordinaire ?
Chaque épisode est une invitation à découvrir les artistes par le prisme d’une thématique liée à leurs vies, leurs œuvres et leurs archives. Ils sont découpés en trois séquences : un entretien général sur le thème de l’émission, des commentaires d’archives et une création musicale.

This little book opens on the eve of the French Revolution. The government is crippled by financial mismanagement, ruled by a King who, in the author's words, is "devoid of both ability and energy," and resented by a tax-oppressed peasantry and a rising middle class. The Revolution escapes the control of its instigators and France is plunged into the Terror and international war. Enter Napoleon, a man with "an enormous capacity for work," who can "get to the root of a matter and master technicalities with great swiftness," but whose "vulgar desire for recognition...and his inability to feel the sufferings of others" ultimately leads to his country's downfall. Davis then presents the careers of Napoleon's successors, including his nephew, Louis Napoleon who, scarcely better than an inept imposter, plunges France in 1870 into the disastrous Franco-Prussian War. In the wake of French defeat, the anti-semitic mass hysteria of the Dreyfus case polarizes French society for over a decade. The book, which was published in 1916, ends in 1910 with France, menaced by Germany, "on the eve of the greatest war the world has ever seen." - Summary by Pamela Nagami, M.D.

Probably the most famous allegory ever written of the Christian life, The Pilgrim's Progress follows the journey of Christian from his first encounter with the Evangelist, through his trials and doubts and as he meets various people who help and hinder him in his journey towards the Celestial City to meet his King. Part 2 follows the journey of Christian's wife and sons as they follow him along the same path past the Slough of Despond, the Castle Despair and Vanity Fair. This version was edited in 1909 by the Rev. Jesse Lyman Hurlbut to update some of the more archaic language and streamline the theological arguments to make them more accessible to lay readers. His aim was "not to re-write the Pilgrim's Progress, for that would destroy its greatest charm, but to change the words here and there to simpler ones... to make it plain and interesting". Dramatized with voices to distinguish the main characters, we hope to make this classic accessible to people of all ages. Der Process ist ein Romanfragment von Franz Kafka (1883 - 1924). Viele Kapitel sind episodenhaft und können in verschiedenen Reihenfolgen gelesen werden. Die Reihenfolge in diesem Hörbuch entspricht dem der Erstveröffentlichung, 1925. Das Kapitel "Im Dom" beinhaltet die Parabel 'Vor dem Gesetz", die bereits 1915 erschienen ist. Zu Lebzeiten war Franz Kafka nicht sehr erfolgreich. Erst die posthumen Veröffentlichungen seiner Schriften durch Max Brod (gegen den ausdrücklichen Wunsch des Autors) verschafften ihm Anerkennung.
