Всем привет, мы Александр и Никита и мы увлекаемся историей. Помимо истории мы ещё очень любим что-нибудь рассказывать. Нам нравится делиться с людьми какими-нибудь интересными фактами. И вот мы подумали, а почему бы нам не совместить приятное с полезным и не рассказать о своей любимой истории крупной аудитории? Именно поэтому мы и решили начать вести подкаст.
Название подкаста SPQR+. Не трудно догадаться, что речь будет идти об истории Древнего Рима. В частности, мы планируем вести несколько рубрик, правда основной будет выступать «ЖДЦ» - Жизнь двенадцати Цезарей. Эдакое переосмысление работы Гая Светония Транквилла. На самом деле это не будет пересказ его работы, а научно-популярное (скорее популярное, нежели научное) биографическое шоу посвященное жизнеописанию римских императоров от Августа до Ромула Августула.
Название SPQR+ помимо общеизвестной аббревиатуры содержит ещё и указание на то, что в рамках подкаста возможна рубрика «Off Top», которая будет посвящена иным историческим событиям и периодом.

Following historic flooding in the Missouri River Basin during 2011, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division committed to providing more frequent communications with stakeholders in the basin. The Corps aims to keep the basin informed about reservoir operations, current and forecast weather conditions and reservoir release plans. Congressional delegation members and/or representatives, Tribes, state governments, county and local officials and the media participate on each call.
