Parets dödsfall som avslöjar mysterier och mörka hemligheter. Ett ungt par beger sig ut på en roadtrip genom USA för att upptäcka landets vackra sevärdheter. Paret har skaffat en Youtube-kanal där tittarna kan följa med dem på deras resa och videoklippen visar mysiga roadtrips i deras lilla mini-van, varma sommardagar och ett kärleksfullt par. Men någonstans på vägen, går allt snett. Paret syns bråka och folk bevittnar en fysisk och psykisk misshandel som pågår mellan paret. Så småningom ska familjerna där hemma tappa kontakten med paret och en dag återvänder killen, med vanen, men utan sin fästmö. Fallet ska komma att avslöja vad som egentligen pågick bakom stängda dörrar, och skapa förvirring i caset. Detta är fallet om Gabby Petito.
