alone time is often regarded as a time of immense joy + fortunate solitude but that's not true for everyone— not even myself at one point. what happens when you're alone and it's not by choice but by default? or even more, what happens when you are not alone but still feel lonely? solitude is the gateway to creating a nourishing relationship with self. however, cultivating a perspective on solitude that inspires you to embrace being alone with your self is essential.
in today's episode, tim and i are getting into the real deal spill about break ups, being alone vs lonely, individualism + independence within relationships of any kind, and how to actually be alone when you don't wanna be alone.
if you are someone who is currently navigating a break up of any kind, we are sending you so much love + strength. you will get through this. (sending virtual hugs.)
may this conversation find whomever it is meant to find. i love you til infinity, babe.

so many times i've found myself measuring the quality of not only my day but the quality of my life by the degree of an emotion. even further, i've sometimes found myself identifying with not only an emotion but with an experience— confusing myself, my worth, my whole ass being with the experience itself. and while our big brains are doing it's best to protect us + help us endure challenge, it often ends up doing the exact opposite. the truth is, we are a separate entity from our experiences. awareness of this truth has helped the both of us experience all the richness that life has to offer (emotions included) without attaching or identifying to any of it. we've become grounded enough in our experiences to allow ourselves to be human but also connected enough to Divine to allow our spirits + souls to remain infinite, abundant + open to all that this experience has to offer.
may this conversation finds whoever it is meant to find. i love you and i appreciate you for being here. <3

i meannnnn.... do i really need to say anything else? 😭
in all seriousness, i've been slowly but surely transforming into an era of my life where i legit don't have the energy to care about how i'm being perceived. i wasted a lot of time and energy caring too much to the point where i didn't do what i wanted to do. i wasn't living for me. but for quite some time now, i've done exactly what i want to do and so much freedom lies in this space. and it is sooo dangerously addictive in the best way possible.
in this episode, sunset tim and i have a conversation about showing up as your truest self in every capacity no matter how anyone else feels about you or the moves you make. eliminating all f*cks liberates the soul.

I realized a little while ago that I existed in a state of urgency, in a mental space— naturally affecting other areas of my being. Once I came to this realization, I intentionally created practices and philosophies that reduce urgency and allow me to return to a state of mindfulness, peace, and calm. I refer to this way of being as the art of no urgency. These practices are slowly but surely allowing me to return to myself.
I hope this conversation finds exactly who it needs to. I really appreciate you for being here and spending time with me. I love you.

isolation is often apart of the healing process. sometimes intentionally. sometimes not. when you get to know yourself + pour back into you, isolation can naturally occur. and that is okay. some people are meant to be in your life for seasons. through the loss of these relationships (the relationship with self included), you'll realize that so much peace can be found.

hiiii bb. recently i've had to make (what feels like a really pivotal) choice for this season of my life. and i've had a difficult time deciding if the choice i made was the "right" choice. i've had to really hone in on following my intuition vs. making a choice that "logically" seems right. quite naturally, we had a conversation about learning to trust your third eye + how it feels when you've made the "right" decision for you.
may this conversation find exactly who it was meant to find. 🧚🏾 ily.

in today's episode, we answer a few questions from the community about unlearning, what our conversations with the universe look like, manifestation, acceptance, and so many more.
a few themes we noticed that kept circling back is 1) faith/belief and 2) detachment. we both wholeheartedly believe whatever you believe you can do, you can do— that is your reality. and if you can detach from old ways of thinking, the desired outcome, who you used to be (there's just so much to detach from— ahhhh), you've quite literally cracked the code to life.
detachment can be challenging but with practice and consistency, you'll find yourself walking into the life that was designed for you.

life has been throwing me so many hurdles this year in general but more specifically the past couple of months. through these challenges, i noticed myself becoming numb, lacking empathy and kindness to myself + even to others. as well as being defensive and expecting the worse. while this perspective and practice slowly and discreetly became habitual, my body + nervous system noticed the shift in energy— low energy, pessimistic and just an overall lack of recognition in self. so, i decided it was time for a change. i literally remember saying to myself— i can't live like this anymore.
without knowing exactly how but sure that i would shift my energy to an elevated state where it was once before, i began to be more intentional with my thoughts, energy and time (implementing more journaling, meditation, movement + solitude). the other day during a journaling sesh, the following words were written so effortlessly: when life gets hard, remain soft. remain human. remain sensitive. remain kind. remain creative. remain open-hearted. remain optimistic. remain empathetic.
the answers i didn't even realize i was searching for came to me... just like that. ever since this moment, i've been making it a priority to practice softness. sensitivity. kindness. creativity. and optimism. this practice (like any) takes time but i have to admit, i feel so much lighter + so much more connected to source energy. my hope is that if you're feeling out of alignment with spirit + with self, this message will allow you to feel more connected to divine as well.
i love you.

there’s a fine line between crashing out (losing the essence of your aura) and standing on business (taking up for yourself). to help myself distinguish the two, i stop and notice how i feel afterwards. do i feel depleted? out of body? or do i feel relieved? better than i did before hand? was it worth it? sometimes the answer is yes. sometimes the answer is no. but i always find my way back to my natural state of being. and that’s what matters.
in this episode, we share a practical guide on avoiding crash out— taking care of your energy and protecting your aura being the core of it all.
as always, thank you for being here. thank you for allowing us to take up space. thank you for allowing us into yours. sending you big love.

we are so full of gratitude and satisfaction to have even made it this far in the journey. while this has been a journey of self-exploration, it has just as much been a journey of connection and community. thank you for always being so open. thank you for continuing to show up, not only for yourselves but also for us. thank you for seeing us. thank you for allowing us to take up space. thank you for allowing us into yours. big love, always and forever.

on this journey of self-discovery, i've been forced to realize some harsh truths about myself. one of these truths being that i had been holding my breath, unconsciously waiting on someone or something to come save me. from what, exactly? well... the findings are still pending (lol). but i wholeheartedly decided that i am no longer waiting to be saved. it's both fortunately and unfortunately no longer working for me. in this process of becoming the hero of my story, i noticed some life altering changes within this decision.
in this episode, i reflect on the following themes:
blame vs. responsibility forgiveness complaints vs. solutions radical self-acceptance self-narrative shifts inevitable transformationmay this conversation find who it's meant to find. thank you for being here. thank you for allowing me to take up space + for allowing me into yours. know that you are loved.
