  • Join Jim and Greg today we they cheer Jerry Seinfeld for correctly accusing the woke left of killing comedy as we knew it for generations, hammer the administrators at Columbia University for continuing to let the inmates run the asylum, and cringing as Drew Barrymore (and way too many other Americans) see themselves as the children of our politicians.

First, they agree wholeheartedly with comedy legend Jerry Seinfeld's contention that the woke left's obsession with never being offended has effectively killed television comedies and many other forms of the art. And Jim adds that comedy is also a problem for the left because it helps people see their shared life experiences...and that's bad for a movement who is constantly seeking to divide us.

Next, they unload on the president and other administrators at Columbia University. After setting another deadline for the pro-Hamas, anti-Israel demonstrators to clear their encampment, there were no consequences when the protesters ignored it. Later, the campus radicals took over an academic building and administrators thus far doing nothing about it.

Finally, they groan as TV host Drew Barrymore tells Vice President Kamala Harris, "We need you to be Momala for the country."Jim and Greg explain why they think it is painfully wrong for Americans to think of themselves as the children of our political leaders, but they look back at a cringeworthy moment from a presidential campaign decades ago that provided momentum for this warped notion.

  • Join Jim and Greg today as they chronicle South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem murdering her chances to become Trump's running mate, why the FBI's claims of falling crime rates are seriously flawed, and the media praising President Biden for preserving a free press when his actions suggest exactly the opposite.

First, they dig into the four-day firestorm of criticism against South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, after it was revealed in her forthcoming autobiography that years ago she shot a 14-month-old dog when it failed as a hunting dog. They're also critical of Noem and hope this development takes her out of the running for the GOP vice presidential nomination since her previous personal and policy decisions already ought to disqualify her.

Next, they groan as the FBI fails to get an accurate picture of crime rates across the nation by forcing local police to enter data in such a cumbersome way that some big cities don't enter crime statistics at all. And even in the cities where authorities do submit crime numbers, the FBI is still reporting lower numbers than local officials are announcing. Bottom line: the left's narrative that crime is plummeting (allegedly to 50-year lows) is dead wrong.

Finally, they roll their eyes as NBC's Kelly O'Donnell lavishes praise on President Biden, saying his mere presence at the White House Correspondents Dinner is a strong defense of free speech and a free press. The Biden's administration's track record tells a very different story.

  • Join Jim and Greg as they dig into reports that White House officials tried and failed to remove one of President Biden's biggest liabilities. They also have plenty to say about America's perilously low fertility rates and USC deciding to punish its graduates out of fear of some radical students.

First, they pop the popcorn and discuss the New York Post report that de facto White House Communications Director Anita Dunn tried to get Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre to take a new job in order to hire someone much more talented than Jean-Pierre at the podium. But Jean-Pierre doesn't want to leave and the Biden team can't fire her.

They also shudder as the U.S. fertility rate drops to a record low of 1.62 births per woman. That is well below the rate of replacement and also spells big trouble for a government incapable of any spending restraint and that is in the midst of an avalanche of retirements in the baby boom generation. The current path is unsustainable and Jim offers young Americans encouragement that they can and should get married and start having babies.

Finally, they denounce the University of Southern California's decision to cancel the main commencement ceremony out of fears there will be disruptions related to Middle East grievances. They explain how this only rewards the troublemakers and Jim stresses that the Class of 2024, of all groups, deserves to celebrate commencement.

  • Jim is back today and fired up to discuss Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman's resolute denunciation of Hamas, the utter cluelessness of some student protesters, and UCLA Medical School's insane "health equity" class.

First, they applaud Sen. Fetterman for highlighting the 200 days since Hamas slaughtered at least 1,200 Jews, raped many others, and took hundreds hostage, including Americans. As Hamas posts video of one hostage - who now only has one arm - Fetterman explains very clearly how the Israel-Hamas war could be over instantly.

Next, they salute the college presidents and political leaders who have done an effective job at shutting down anti-Israel protests that refuse to leave private property. And they point out multiple examples of these college students knowing next to nothing about why they're protesting and what the basic facts are about war in the Middle East.

Finally, they just shake their heads as a "health equity" class at UCLA Medical School teaches aspiring doctors that weight loss is a "hopeless endeavor" and that "obesity" is a slur "used to exact violence on fat people."

  • Hillsdale College Radio General Manager and Radio Free Hillsdale Hour Host Scot Bertram is in for Jim. Today, Scot and Greg serve up at least one good martini, one that has the potential to be very good, and a really crazy one starring Stacey Abrams.

First, they laugh as new Bloomberg poll numbers show President Biden's blatant pandering to Muslim voters in Michigan by verbally attacking Israel at every opportunity is showing small signs of success in that state but it's also causing Donald Trump to grow his lead in virtually every other battleground state.

Next, they are cautiously optimistic about recently passed legislation that forces TikTok's parent company to sell the app or have it banned in the U.S. TikTok is well documented to be Chinese Communist Party spyware that harvests personal and national security data while getting millions of Americans - especially young people - addicted to the content, much of which is very harmful. But they also want to be sure this new law does not end up stifling online speech in any way.

Then, they get a kick out twice-failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams stating that opposition to the implementation of the DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) agenda in schools is an attack on our democracy. They enjoy seeing how the Democrats now see any position contrary to their agenda as a threat to democracy - and the insanity doesn't stop there.

Lastly, these two beleaguered Chicago Bears fans look ahead to Thursday's NFL Draft, in which the Bears have the first pick. Scot is optimistic about the team that's being assembled and Greg is just waiting to see how the Bears will squander this opportunity.

  • Inez Stepman of the Independent Women's Forum and host of the "High Noon" podcast is in for Jim. Today, we discuss President Biden's absurd changes to Title IX, his feckless equivocating on anti-Semitic college protests, and his federal bureaucrats harassing a business for not hiring criminals.

First, they break down the Biden Department of Education's radical changes to Title IX of the Civil Rights Act, adding gender identity protections to an area of law specifically focused on ensuring opportunities for women and girls. Now, the government will force schools at every level to allow students and personnel to use whichever bathroom they identify with, compel speech through mandatory preferred pronoun usage, and strip college students of due process rights when accused of sexual misconduct.

Then, they react to the latest in the anti-Semitic protests happening at Columbia University and many other far-left, supposedly elite institutions. They also react to President Biden condemning the protests but - in the same breath - also condemning "those who don't understand what's going on with the Palestinians."

Finally, they shake their heads as Biden-appointed bureaucrats at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) sue Sheetz gas stations for racial discrimination by refusing to hire applicants who failed a criminal background check.

  • Hillsdale College Radio General Manager and Radio Free Hillsdale Hour Host Scot Bertram is in for Jim. Today, Scot and Greg tackle virulent anti-Semitism on the campuses of many supposedly elite colleges, Dems' wishful thinking on this summer's convention running without major disruptions from protesters, and the impact RFK Jr. may have in Michigan.

First, they chronicle how ugly anti-Semitic protests are consuming campuses from Columbia to MIT to Yale and beyond with demonstrators trying to "occupy" parts of the schools while harassing, intimidating, and threatening Jewish students and faculty. These protests are overtly pro-Hamas now and the "Students for Justice in Palestine" say they plan to bring this to colleges throughout the country.

Next, they roll their eyes as Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker looks at these protests and says he doesn't expect any problems from them when the Democratic National Convention comes to Chicago this summer. It's a bold prediction given Chicago's inability to prevent chaos on a normal day.

Finally, as Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. qualifies for the presidential ballot in Michigan, how big of a factor will he become in a state the Biden campaign is already very nervous about. They also look at some polling about how RFK Jr. may impact the race and the big problem the Trump campaign seems to be having in getting supporters to vote.

  • Join Jim and Greg as they discuss Israel's response to Iran, the Chinese threat to America's critical infrastructure, and the public political fight among the Kennedys.

First, they welcome news of an Israeli military response against Iran. Details remain sketchy but it seems to be a much smaller operation than Iran launched over the weekend. So is this the end of the back-and-forth or is there more to come?

Next, they shudder as FBI Director Christopher Wray says China is actively trying to hack and disable critical U.S. infrastructure like electricity, water, and more.

Finally, they discuss most Kennedy family members endorsing President Biden over RFK, Jr. But do voters care what the Kennedys think? And what does this event tell us about how worried the Biden campaign is about RFK, Jr.?

  • Join Jim and Greg as they sound off on some good news out of the House of Representatives and some really crazy news about taxpayer-funded media and President Biden's latest whoppers.

First, they're glad to see a big bipartisan majority in the House of Representatives vote to declare the Iran-backed Houthis to be a "Foreign Terrorist Organization" again. If the Senate also passes it, Jim and Greg hope Biden will the sign the bill and not stubbornly stick to his decision to reverse President Trump designation of the Houthis as a Foreign Terrorist Organization.

Then, they wince as National Public Radio (NPR) basically forces longtime editor Uri Berliner out after he publicly scolded NPR for engaging in partisan politics by stifling stories like the Hunter Biden laptop and the origins of COVID while reporting Rep. Adam Schiff's version of the Trump-Russia investigation as the truth. Instead, leaders there are proving most of Berliner's accusations true and embracing leftist narratives. They also recoil at a TED Talk that new NPR CEO Katherine Maher delivered about how we all have our own truths and that building consensus is more important than pursuing truth.

Finally, they groan as President Biden repeatedly tells the thoroughly disproven story of his uncle allegedly getting by cannibals in New Guinea during World War II. And Biden also claims he told Israel not to go into Haifa - which is an Israeli city. But Jim says the statement is also very problematic on another level.

  • Hillsdale College Radio General Manager and Radio Free Hillsdale Hour Host Scot Bertram is in for Jim. Today, Scot and Greg serve up three crazy martinis ranging from Capitol Hill to women's sports to the high school classroom.

First, they sigh as some House Republicans vow to move forward on trying to remove House Speaker Mike Johnson over his handling of the House agenda - and what his critics call passing the Democrats' agenda. There are valid criticisms of Johnson's decisions, positions, and priorities on some issues, but what would removing another Speaker of the House accomplish now, when Republicans have an even smaller majority than they did when Johnson was elected?

Next, they roll their eyes as President Biden and others on the left try to pander to women by demanding WNBA players get equal pay with the men in the NBA. Of course the big wage disparity has nothing to do with the sex of the players but whether their league is profitable. The NBA makes billions of dollars each year. The WNBA has lost money for its entire existence.

Finally, they highlight the case of a North Carolina high school student who was suspended for three days for asking his teacher whether the word "alien" in his vocabulary lesson referred to space aliens or people who come into the U.S. with no green cards.

  • Join Jim and Greg as they discuss the right approach towards anti-Israel protesters blocking traffic. Plus, they take on Dems trying to nominate unelectable Republicans again and the New York judge who may refuse to let Donald Trump attend his son's graduation.

First, they fume over pro-Palestinian (often overtly pro-Hamas) demonstrators shutting down traffic on the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City, and the roads leading to O'Hare International Airport in Chicago. But they also highlight how Florida officials quickly thwarted similar disruptions in and around Miami.

Next, they raise warmings that Democrats are once again trying to meddle in Republican primaries by purporting to campaign on behalf of candidates that the activists on the left think will be easier to defeat in the general election. The latest mischief is happening in a House swing district in Pennsylvania.

Finally, they shake their heads as the judge in Donald Trump's New York City hush money trial says that Trump will be arrested if he misses any days in court. He also would not commit to allowing Trump to attend his son's high school graduation next month.

  • Iran attacked Israel over the weekend, and Jim and Greg break down the good, bad, and crazy elements of this huge story.

First, they reject the notion that this was a largely symbolic attack from Iran - supposedly because everyone knew Iran's weapons would not get past the missile defense capabilities in the region. But Jim points out that you don't send hundreds of missiles and hundreds of drones if your effort is symbolic. They also chafe at reports that Biden (through Turkish intermediaries) told Iran to keep any attacks "within certain limits." And they point out that Iran once again rejected Biden's feeble insistence of "don't" when asked about Iranian aggression.

Next, they cheer the excellence of execution by the U.S., Great Britain, Israel, Jordan, and even Saudi Arabia in thwarting the Iranian attack with missile defense and other collaboration. And they take a moment to give credit to the man who insisted on pursuing missile defense more than 40 years ago despite the derision of Democrats and the media - President Ronald Reagan.

Finally, they groan as Biden tells Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not to respond against Iran because the missile defense operation resulted in "a win" for Israel. That's not how this works.

  • President Biden is once again touting his unconstitutional efforts to transfer the student loan debt from those who took out the loans to the taxpayers who did not. It's not just illegal, it's immoral. And there are much better ways to address the problem. Today, Jim and Greg examine three different areas worthy of much more attention.

First, they cheer Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for arguing that colleges and universities should back up the cost of student loans if their graduates are not able to find jobs with high enough salaries to pay them back. He says it's not only right because the schools benefit immensely from student loans but it would also force schools to focus on subjects in which their students can find good jobs.

Next, they also welcome their friend Inez Stepman's idea of taxing the endowments of colleges and universities, instead of allowing schools to treat them like hedge funds. Beyond that, they implore Republicans to come up with a coherent message other than opposition to what Biden is doing. Americans are furious about Biden's shifting of this debt onto the rest of taxpayers, but without an actual plan to address the problem, Republicans are not doing taxpayers or themselves any favors.

Finally, they note the coming higher education "enrollment cliff," as the number of high school graduates is expected to drop considerably in the next few years. Will that refocus the priorities of these universities? And how will greater interest in trade schools impact all of this?

  • On Thursday, we learned that O.J. Simpson died after a battle with cancer. He was 76 years old. In the mid-1990's, his murder trial dominated news coverage and divided a nation. Today, Jim and Greg look back, but not as a trip down memory lane. Instead, it's about understanding why this was such a massive story and the impact that the O.J. saga still has on our nation today.

Younger Americans may know him only as an accused murderer, if they remember him at all. If you're a bit older, you remember the star athlete, actor, and football commentator who was beloved throughout the nation. It's a fall from grace that Jim and Greg chronicle to explain just how stunning it was that Simpson was accused of murdering ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and Ron Goldman.

From there, Jim and Greg dig into the legal and media circus that played out in the murder trial, on the news, in late night television and beyond. The story engulfed our culture in ways that we still feel today - and not for the better.

Finally, they examine the legacy of O.J. at his death - nearly 30 years after he was accused of two savage murders.

  • It's four martinis for the price of three today and none of them are good.

Join Jim and Greg as they start a busy day with the Arizona Supreme Court upholding an 1864 law limiting abortions only to medical emergencies for the mother. "Life of the mother" used to be a pretty standard position on abortion for Republicans, but the hypocritical reaction from most GOP figures yesterday was quite telling. They'd much prefer the talking point than the actual policy.

They also groan as the monthly inflation numbers once again come in higher than expected. Prices remain stubbornly high - and often keep rising - regardless of what the president or his allies tell you.

Plus, Biden suggests Israel should announce it will stop fighting Hamas for 6-8 weeks to allow significant humanitarian relief into Gaza. He made no mention of requiring the release of hostages in response. Meanwhile, Hamas has already rejected a cease-fire but Biden can't seem to condemn that publicly.

Finally, Texas Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee offers an astronomy lesson for the ages at an event celebrating the solar eclipse.

  • Join Jim and Greg as they serve up three important martinis, with Sen. Fetterman providing another pleasant surprise, Donald Trump stirring up the abortion debate on the right, and President Biden getting called out over his handling of the Middle East crisis.

First, they cheer Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman for blasting the notion that squatters have any right to live on property they don't own and have no permission to stay on. He also rips soft-on-crime policies.

Next, they dissect Donald Trump's announcement on his abortion stance. While agreeing with Trump that the Democrats' agenda - of taxpayer funded abortions up to the moment of birth and even allowing babies to die after surviving abortions - is the far more radical position on the issue, they're also critical of Trump's "follow your heart" advice on abortion in the states for a number of reasons.

Finally, they chide The Dispatch for a pretty weak case that President Biden has kept his focus on the Americans being held hostage by Hamas in Gaza. While it's true that Biden has addressed the despicable abductions, it's not very often and there's an easy way to tell how much public attention the White House and the media want to give this issue.

  • Join Jim and Greg for a few quick thoughts on the solar eclipse and then martinis covering the Middle East, the hidden truth inside the March jobs report, and a senator trying to push a Supreme Court justice into retirement.

First, they applaud former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett for fending off the biased questions of CNN's Fareed Zakaria and repeatedly echoing his political rival, current Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in saying that Israel must destroy Hamas once and for all.

Next, they shudder at the truth behind the supposedly good March jobs report - that virtually all of the jobs created last month were part-time positions. They discuss what this means and why it explains Americans' disgust with Biden over the economy despite good unemployment numbers.

Finally, they get a kick out of Connecticut Sen. Richard Blumenthal publicly pressuring Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor to retire - with the not-so-subtle suggestion that she could die soon and hand a Republican president the opportunity to replace her.

  • Join Jim and Greg as Jim offers a fascinating recap of his recent return to Ukraine and describes what was different this time around. Plus, Jim's recollection of a conversation with a former member of the Russian Duma who is now allied with Ukraine, and a very interesting look at the innovations happening right now to help Ukrainian soldiers.

First, Jim explains why he wanted to go back to Ukraine a little more than six months after his visit last summer. He also updates the war effort, the relentless Russian "meat waves," the impact of U.S. aid being on hold, and what conditions for an end to the war might be under consideration. They also discuss Ukraine's policy of not holding elections while under martial law. Would it be better to demonstrate a commitment to democracy regardless of the circumstances or is it simply impossible to hold elections under the current circumstances?

Next, Jim recounts his meeting with Ilya Ponomarev, a former member of the Russian Duma who is now working with Ukraine against the Russians. His tactics are certainly fodder for debate but Jim explains why what Ponomarev is doing is quite courageous.

Finally, Jim describes his visit to a secret drone factory somewhere in Ukraine and shares as much as he can about the innovations happening to assist the war effort and the people working there. Jim may be the first western journalist to visit the plant.

  • Join Jim and Greg as they dive into discussion about Nebraska's electoral votes, Bill Clinton writing another autobiography, and Pete Buttigieg gaslighting America about EV's.

First, they consider what seems likely to be an unsuccessful effort by Nebraska Republicans to switch the allotment of the state's electoral votes to a winner-take-all system, instead of awarding votes by who wins each congressional district. Jim says some consistency nationwide would be nice, while Greg laughs at all of the outrage on the left when their Electoral College overhaul agenda is far more radical.

Next, they roll their eyes as Bill Clinton gets ready to release another new book in November, this one about his life since leaving the presidency. Jim wonders whether this will finally be the time when Clinton is forced to answer many lingering questions about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.

Finally, they respond to Transportation Sec. Pete Buttigieg gaslighting Americans about the demand for electric vehicles, the auto industry shifting in the direction of EV production, and saying those trying to stop this movement are like people who wanted to focus on landlines as cell phones were coming onto the market. Jim and Greg point out the major holes in Buttigieg's talking points and why his landline comparison is pathetic.

First, they applaud the voters of Jackson County, Missouri, for rejecting the demands of the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals to approve a sales tax to bankroll a new baseball stadium and overhaul the football field.

Next, they welcome the decision by Wisconsin voters to reject private financing or staffing of elections. It's in response to the millions poured into the 2020 elections by Facebook/Meta Founder Mark Zuckerberg.

Finally, they're disgusted but not surprised that the Biden administration does not plan to honor its promise to refill the Strategic Petroleum Reserve after selling off much of it to artificially lower gas prices before the 2022 midterm elections
