  • Talking to my students about what’s been going on since they invested in their dreams gets me all sorts of excited. I have four students on the show who decided a year ago to hand over their credit card for the Knowledge Broker Blueprint.
I took the course, too, twice actually and I could tell you all day long how incredible the content is, how I got a new million dollar idea in the process, and all the real, tangible results I’ve seen since taking it… But I want you to hear from students who were on the fence and took the leap.
Stephanie Ann, Hans, Hilary and Ty are here to share their before, during, and after stories of KBB, as well as the reservations they had and how those went out the window as they started the course. This is what happens when you invest in your dreams.

  • I can’t help but laugh when I scroll back to my earliest days on instagram. There are grainy photos of my dogs and random #inspirational quotes I found who knows where filling my feed, which by the way, had ZERO consistency or flow. My aesthetic was NOT right, sis. I’d post when I felt like it and didn’t have a strategy.
Everyone starts somewhere, right? And even though I teach instagram and social media strategy now, I didn’t always have thousands of followers and a clear vision for how the social media world could transform, enhance, and even sustain my business.
The “starting” phase is easily the hardest and most gritty because we often think of alllll the things we need to do and get overwhelmed. This episode is about paring it down, simplifying and removing the barriers to entry so you can legit get started right away. By the end of this episode, I want you to be equipped to begin nurturing your following and stepping into the person and business owner you’re becoming.

  • If your products could speak, what stories would they tell? Ali Hynek is the CEO and founder of Nena & Co. It began with an appreciation for her Guatemalan culture and exploring the country with her mother, learning about the beautiful handwoven textiles and the people who create them.
Ali is a masterful storyteller. The stories behind each piece of fabric, and every single hand of every indiginous artisan that touches her products, are beautifully communicated to the customer, creating a strong connection that have turned her pieces into cherished works of art.
She stays true to her “why” and the mission to provide reliable and sustainable income opportunities for the artisans that help create her products, all while building a for-profit business with a heart. This episode is rich with clear, actionable advice for purpose-driven product-based businesses.

  • Imposter syndrome is feeling out of place in the scenes you’ve dreamed up for yourself. It’s reaching that big goal and looking around thinking, “I don’t belong here, someone is going to call me out, I’m not supposed to be here.”
Imposter syndrome plagues even the most accomplished, successful people because it has nothing to do with our qualifications or experience. Imposter syndrome attacks your confidence and changes your inner dialog, and it can impact your productivity, big time.
Imposter Syndrome is psychological, and I’m not a psychologist… However, I muscled through the feelings of “not good enough” and “who do I think I am?” so I want to share with you my own personal experiences, how I tackled my own imposter syndrome, and mix that with careful research from some trusted sources.
I want you to have the tools you need to push away that nagging self-doubt and do the big things you were born to do. At the very least, this will be a jumping off point for you to recognize your Imposter Syndrome and begin working through it to claim your title and place in the world with pride.

  • Composing the perfect pitch is an art.
You have to know yourself, your business, or your offer SO well, and then be able to extract the information that is most important to the person or business you’re pitching. The perfect pitch is engaging and informative, and it inspires interest or better yet, action.
Today’s guest knows what makes a great pitch. Jules Pieri gets thousands of pitches a day as the Co-Founder and CEO of the product launch platform called The Grommet. Do products like FitBit, OtterBox, SodaStream, and S’well sound familiar? Jules and the discovery team at The Grommet have helped make those a household name.
With her experience, you know she’s seen some awesome pitches, and some not-so-awesome. Jules is here to share her advice for a great pitch, especially when it comes to the product world, but also how her advice applies across the board. We also chat about innovation and standing out in a crowded market.

  • Today’s guest, Sazan Hendrix grew up the daughter of immigrant Middle Eastern parents. Her family valued hard work, but a career in the public spotlight was not encouraged.
She faced cultural opposition and yet she pushed through to find her voice and identity, inspiring women across the globe to do the same. Sazan’s success is undeniable, right? A million followers, sold out products, a top-rated podcast. But she reached a point where the world saw her as one thing, and she felt totally out of alignment with that image.
I loved hearing about Sazan’s life before she grew her business, and the changes she made when her sweet baby entered this world, so she could show up in a way that was totally true to who she is now. If you’ve ever felt conflicted and out of sync with the person you are inside and the one showing up in your squares on social media, this is your episode.

  • I don’t have time. My dream is too big. Where do I even start?
Our big dreams can take a backseat to everyday life. It’s so easy to push them away, fire off every excuse for not leaning into our biggest goals, and ignore the little pull they have on our hearts. I wholeheartedly believe that these big ideas that both excite and frighten us are the only things worth pursuing at all.
Let me warn you from the beginning that this is not going to be an episode on general goal setting or how to be more productive and stick to your goals. This episode is about figuring out that one thing you should be doing and then reverse engineering your way to achieve the result you want.
The first three steps to take plus how to hop right over whatever roadblocks come your way on the path to making it happen… I’m sharing it all.

  • I’m a Type 3: The Achiever. If you’ve taken this personality assessment my team cannot live without, you know exactly what I’m talking about.
What is it? The enneagram! The enneagram assesses you as one of 9 types. Each of these types have a unique set of personality traits, strengths, and weaknesses and it is INSANELY accurate. My sister made my entire family take it last January, and the takeaways *actually* stuck with me throughout the year. I’m sharing how the enneagram has set me up for success in business, exposed weaknesses, how Drew and I have used it to grow in our marriage, how it clarified a lot of dynamics in our family, and ultimately how you can find out your enneagram assessment and use it to transform your life.

  • Authenticity is more than posting the unedited, unfiltered photos on our feed. Today’s guest is a self-proclaimed authenticity advocate who believes sharing her truth, even the talking about the tough stuff out loud, can help other women feel like they aren’t alone. Sarah Herron was the first contestant on ABC’s The Bachelor with a physical disability, and although it didn’t end in her winning the final rose, she turned the sometimes tumultuous Bachelor experience into a new positive life purpose.
Sarah was born with Amniotic Band Syndrome, but it hasn’t stopped her from climbing mountains, skiing double black diamonds and even searching for love on television. This chat gets real and raw about her time on the show and how it was a catalyst for starting her nonprofit. This girl is THE example of finding positivity and purpose in challenging times.
