Σε αυτό το επεισόδιο, το ΙστοριΚων εξερευνά την ιστορία ενός Τ/κ που το 1949 κατάφερε να εξαλείψει την μαλάρια από το νησί, σώζοντας δεκάδες χιλιάδες Κύπριους και εξαλείφοντας μια ασθένεια που είχε πάρει διαστάσεις επιδημίας και βασάνιζε την Κύπρο για αιώνες. Γι’ αυτή του την πράξη τιμήθηκε διεθνώς, κέρδισε τον σεβασμό της επιστημονικής κοινότητας και δημιούργησε το πρότυπο καταπολέμησης της μαλάριας.
