The Malleus Maleficarum, the 'Hammer of the Witches', was the lifes work of Papal Inquisitor Henricus Institoris, who held a particular hatred of witchcraft and those who practiced it. For him, witchcraft was the fruit of female sexuality and the corrupting influence of the Devil, only occasionally finding men guilty of the crime. His work was either a seminal work on witchcraft theory, or a fabricated mess worth barely any mention, depending on who you ask.
This episode primarily made use of the following texts, among others:
Henricus Institoris and Jacob Sprenger, Malleus Maleficarum, (1487)

A meditation to claim the keys of autumn, by connecting root, heart, and crown, with an invocation of the goddess Hekate.
Text of Hymn To Hekate on The Autumn Equinox:
Hail Hekate Pasikratea, Queen of the Universe.
Hail Hekate Aglaos, Creator of the Sun.
Hail Hekate Erigeneia, Ruler of the Moon.
On this day
When the moon and sun are equal,
I am once again awestruck by
Your Power
As Creatrix of the World.
You who control all the universe
In your Hand.
Hekate Megiste,
Your majesty overwhelms me
And I am humbled.
On this Autumn Equinox,
I express my sincere affection for you, Blessed Hekate.
I offer my gratitude, Blessed Hekate.
I renew my devotion, Blessed Hekate.
Hail Hekate Pasikratea, Queen of the Universe.
Hail Hekate Aglaos, Creator of the Sun.
Hail Hekate Erigeneia, Ruler of the Moon.

Enter the mysteries of the deeper world by allowing the Sibyl within to awaken.
Angela Natividad and I explore The Sibyl, from the classical antiquity to contemporary oracles. Angela and I talked for over two hours, with about the first hour being an intro and the second more on specific Sibyls and bringing this archetype to the present day
The Sibyl was an ancient priestess of great prestige in many areas of the Greek and Roman worlds. Their influence continued in Christianity right up to the Renaissance. There were many sibyls, including The Pythia (which was also a title referring to many prophetesses, pictured) and The Sibyl of Cumae. To the ancients, The Sibyllae were the chosen priestesses who held the sacred gift of prophecy. They prophesied the rise of Rome and predicted the birth of the messiah. So powerful were her words that her books were dearly guarded by the Romans. Michelangelo painted her on the Sistine Chapel. There were many other important sibyls throughout the ancient Mediterranean, predicting the rise and fall of empires accurately as well as responding to questions about the details of everyday life. The Sibylline Oracles are a compendium of oracular writings attributed to ancient Sibyls, but more likely heavily adapted by early Christian writers. As an archetype, The Sibyl persists today, from the popularity of astrology and tarot to the mysterious oracles spoken by economists.
I dedicated an entire chapter to the sibyllic in Entering Hekate's Garden: The Magick, Medicine and Mystery of Plant Spirit Witchcraft. Available from most major online booksellers.

For her witches, Hekate's darkness is her nourishing womb. We return home to her for healing. Witchcraft is the medicine she offers. The annual descent of Her Wheel of the Year into long nights is when she opens the gates to her sacred Cave, wherein her cauldron of birth resides. Deep healing, release of spiritual filth, soul retrieval and rebirth are all found in her darkness.
