    [2ND STORY] :)

    Jeep [GP]
    "Government Purposes" or "General Purpose"

After world war 2 there were many jeeps that where either not working or partly destroyed because of gun fire, bombs or heavy duty use.

Because of the enginuity of Filipinos they found a way back to the roads pinoys found a way to make them work again, they modified them for public transportation.

The jeepney is the perfect vihecle for the working Filipino. It used not just for public transport but also to to pick up and deliver different goods and materials. Thus living up to its name as a "General Purpose" vihecle up to this day.

Filipinos also responded to the call for electric vihicles to save the environment, there are now Electric Jeepneys roaming the streets of Metro manila.

  • Hello and thank you tuning here with me, my name is juan and I will be teaching you how to speak tagalog. first of all let me tell you the format of the show. I will be teaching a phrase or two, something useful that you can use to your filipino friends and after that i will be playing a tagalog song so lets start Greetings, First Phrase: Kamusta ka this means, how are you? kamusta ka, if your talking to an older person. you take out ka, and add po. so it becomes kamusta po? try practicing that and youll be fine. Second Phrase: Anong balita? This literally means whats the news. Well in this case your implying whats up. whats new, hows everything. it has that connotation. Anong means what and balita means news. Just keep practicing them and you will be fine. Okay now its time for me to play a filipino song. I will be playing a song from orange and lemons, this is Isang gabi. Have a great one guys, mahal ko kayong lahat. Feedback: [email protected] Maraming Salamat.
