As Sri RamaKrishna had pointed out, Lakshmi Devi was a Divine incarnation, and despite the tribulations forebode by a Sadhu in her young years, she overcame all the adversity and she brought spiritual her light to all who come in contact with her.

Kanakadasa was the son of ardent devotees of Lord Venkateshwar. Growing up in a Vaishnava environment, Kanakadasa's life embodied what it means to be a bhakta. Though he was of a lower caste, his knowledge was higher than the brahmins and his faith and devotion was that of a true saint.
