Det korta svaret är: en konstriktning och en filosofisk tanketradition som växte fram under 60-, 70- och 80-talen och som på olika sätt utmanade föreställningen om givna sanningar. Men vad gick allt egentligen ut på? Hur förhöll sig den postmoderna konsten till den postmoderna teorin? Vilka är de viktigaste postmoderna idéerna? Och vad innebär det egentligen att leva i en postmodern tid? I veckans avsnitt går Bildningspodden går till botten med postmodernismen.
Gäster i studion är ANDERS BURMAN, docent i idéhistoria vid Södertörns högskola, och FRIDA BECKMAN, docent i engelska och litteraturvetare vid Stockholms universitet.
