Dr Daniel Johnston, MD, MPH is a decorated veteran and retired Lieutenant Colonel, US Army, where he served in a variety of positions as a physician and public health expert. His tours included the Pentagon, White House, Army Surgeon General’s Office and multiple overseas assignments and tours. While in Iraq in 2011 on a full time medical assignment, he received approval to examine the role of nutrition, specifically fatty acids, and Soldier resilience and performance in combat. The results, which were the first of their kind, motivated him to make good on his promises he made to the Soldiers who participated in the Study by building the BrainSpan Assessment where he now serves as CEO and Chief Medical Officer.

Michelin-starred chef David Bouley described Dr. Uma Naidoo as the world’s first “triple threat” in the food as medicine space: She is a Harvard trained psychiatrist, Professional Chef graduating with her culinary schools’ most coveted award, and a Nutrition Specialist.
