A little fun in this ep.
Myself, Shaun Croaker, and Paul Van Acker ('John' and 'Paul' from 'The Beatlegs' - met in our very first episode) sat and presented our favourite Top Ten Beatles Tunes. I thought this would be a perfect way to celebrate our 10th episode in the series.
We each gave ourselves two honourable mentions, tracks sitting just outside out ten lists, and all agreed that a list like this can of course change in a matter of hours!
You'll find our complete lists on the Facebook page (link below), where we'd love to see yours also.
Let's get started.

I met Brig Corban when she, by chance, was standing at my side during Paul McCartney's GOT BACK tour performance in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, November 1st 2023.
We were three rows back from the stage, front and centre. It was a remarkable evening in every sense. For Brig it was particuarly special when Paul noticed her in the audience and a little magic moment happened.
Almost a year later we got together for the first time since and had a conversation about her Beatles fandom, the moment on that night, and just what it took to be there in the first place.
Let's get talking.

Imagine this, you're barely in your teens in 1964 when you see The Beatles live onstage. The experience never leaves you. Fate eventually deals you a hand when, decades later, you find yourself requested to come and meet your all-time favourite member of the Fab Four. In no time, your standing before Ringo Starr and greeted with a hug.
This is Maggie De Kort's story. A first generation fan, who still feels the love for those 'four guys from Liverpool' to this very day.
Be sure to check our socials to see her incredible images.

Continuing with our 'Meet The Beatlegs' series, this week it's Sam Croaker, the man bringing the magic of George onto the stage, as part of one of Australia's leading Beatles tribute bands.
A gifted singer / songwriter in his own right, Sam's passion for George, and The Beatles, is clear. We even had an acoustic guitar nearby that get's put to good use in unlocking some of the beauty that made George so special as a player. While there is a little soft audio crackle initially in these segments, it's gone fairly quickly.
I know you'll enjoy getting to know Sam and sharing in his love for the Fab Four.
Time to get talking all things, George!
