Maya Brattkus wanted to give her friend who lost her home in the LA fires a gift to comfort her and help her through her grief. What she didn't realize is that her art would touch so many people in need as well. So she started drawing the houses and businesses that were lost in the Eaton and Palisades fires to raise awareness and support for strangers she had never met, ones who had lost so much. And that's how her Lost Home Project began. And it's still going. Maya's goal is to collect as many drawings of these houses, along with the stories behind them, to compile into a book to pay tribute to her community. They say art heals people. Sometimes an artist realizes it can heal themself. This is Maya's good journey...

Marcy Thrash brings the good of Project AnimalAid, the Boulder, Colorado based 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the health and welfare of animals in the U.S. and around the world. PAA achieves this goal by collecting veterinary equipment, technology and supplies from veterinary hospitals, human hospitals, medical equipment and supply manufacturers and distributors, zoos, other non-profit organizations and individuals. These donated items are then distributed worldwide to veterinarians working in non-profit or non-governmental organizations devoted to animal health. This amazing organization is not only helping the animals of the planet, but also conserving valuable resources that will likely otherwise end up in a landfill. We are talking animals, conserving, recycling, reusing, and how bad ass it is to have Thrash as a last name. Cody Bryant's real life story is right out of a soap opera: he met a girl, they started dating, he went on a trip overseas alone, got in an accident, wound up in the hospital unable to walk with no memory, she didn't hear from him and assumed she had been ghosted, they reconnected months later, started dating again, and fell in love.
