Anora is a movie directed by acclaimed indie director Sean Baker that stars Mikey Madison who plays Ani, a young sex worker who marries the son of a Russian oligarch. The parents of the oligarch set out to get the marriage annulled. The film won the Cannes Film Festival and placed at Toronto International Film Festivals Peoples Choice Award, making it a top contender at this years Oscar race.
