This breathing technique is sure to get your nervous system chillin. 🤙
Please don’t be intimidated by the hand set up, our main goal here is to breathe in one nostril, pause and then breathe out the other nostril … and switch!

Yogis have long used the tool of breathwork to settle the body and mind.
This one takes just enough focus and coordination that you will likely find yourself totally in the present.
I remember feeling a little silly when I first tried it, but after a few deep breaths like this I was happy to pay the price of “feeling silly” for a moment!
Calm the body.
Focus the mind.
Reduce anxiety.
Hack the nervous system.
All by the power of the breath!

A physiological sigh is a simple breathing exercise, that is said to lower stress, improve your mood, and restore a feeling of calm. Try the physiological sigh for yourself: take a deep inhale followed by a short second inhalation, and then an extended exhalation. A quick guided meditation for when you only have a minute.
One minute is good enough.
Come into the body by taking a few deep breaths.
In through the nose, and out the mouth as if you're blowing out a candle.
Twice more on your own timing.
In ... and out.
In ... and out.
Imagine the waters of your mind for a moment.
The water is calm, peaceful.
Allow yourself a moment of complete peace in the mind.
Take a deep breath to bring that calmness in through the rest of your day.
