Welcome back to **"Why Are We Here on Earth?"**—the podcast where we explore profound questions about our existence and the paths we choose. I'm your host, TA, and today we're delving into a critical transformation humanity must undertake to secure our future.
In this episode, we peel back the layers of our conditioned beliefs and confront the uncomfortable truth: following outdated paradigms could lead us to the brink of disaster. Drawing parallels to the teachings of Jesus, I offer insights into how we have allowed religion to dictate our understanding and actions, limiting our ability to engage with reality.
As we unpack the notion of "God" not as a name but as a director giving us vital guidance, we look at how the Bible has been misinterpreted over generations, often to consolidate power rather than to enlighten. We'll also explore how historical lessons inform our present, and why it’s essential now more than ever to build a foundation for decision-making based on logic, reality, and the wisdom gleaned from our past.
I urge you to consider: Are we prepared for the potential upheavals in our civilization? From physical catastrophes to societal changes, it's imperative that we start fostering a reality-based approach to our lives. We’ll examine how taking a realistic outlook not only influences individual choices but can reshape our collective future.
Join me on this enlightening journey as we challenge the belief systems that keep us in a bubble of comfort and recognize the necessity of proactive, reality-focused thinking. Together, we can pivot towards a sustainable future grounded in awareness, resilience, and truth.
Don't miss this critical conversation that could redefine how we navigate our lives on this nursery planet, and be sure to bring your thoughts and questions for our next episode!

Welcome to another thought-provoking episode of **"Why Are We Here on Earth?"**—the podcast where we unravel the complexities of existence and challenge the status quo of belief. I'm your host, TA. This week, we dive deep into the heart of our existence on this nursery planet, exploring the essence of belief and truth through the lens of the Bible.
Join me and my inquisitive interlocutor, Brian, as we break down the notion that belief can often lead us towards failure, in line with biblical teachings. We posit that a scientific translation of the Bible is essential in uncovering the life-altering wisdom buried beneath centuries of religious interpretation.
How do we reconcile themes of good and evil presented in ancient texts? Are humans inherently flawed, or is there room for divine connection within our very nature? We tackle these queries and more, exploring how misinterpretations have shaped our understanding of morality and decision-making.
As we dig into discussions around predestination, the nature of empathy, and human evolution, we probe the implications of living a belief-driven life versus one rooted in reality. Will the earth face a pivotal change, and are we prepared for it? Listen in as we confront the uncomfortable truths and question the foundations of our moral compass.
This episode promises an enlightening journey as we strive for clarity amidst chaos, challenging you to rethink your perceptions and engage with the questions that matter most. Tune in and embark on this quest for understanding—don't just take our word for it; discover your own truths!

Once upon a time, I met a fortune teller who left me questioning the unseen forces that shape our lives. Join me, TA, as I explore these profound insights with Angela from the "Focus Within" podcast on the latest episode of "Why Are We Here on Earth." Together, we embark on a thought-provoking journey through the mysteries of reality, peeling back traditional religious interpretations to reveal a treasure trove of non-religious wisdom within the Bible. Our conversation underscores the pivotal moment humanity stands at, requiring a conscious re-evaluation of our beliefs and perspectives.
Angela and I delve into the essence of belief systems and their powerful impact on our perception of reality. We contend that religions created a completely inadequate frame for our understanding of God, proposing instead that this conceptual framing reflects human desires, rather than delivering God's message to humans in an unambiguous way. Solomon stated that God is the only individual you can trust with your heart, mind and soul because He has only your success as His agenda. It is your inadequate understanding of what is going on and why that you need to address. Making daily decisions modeled after Eve's method rather than also using God's method is like wanting to get from Point A to Point B, but only allowing yourself to make right turns. God wants you to able to make left turns also, now that you are mature enough to understand how that will make Life more fulfilling for you, going forward. This episode highlights the importance of conscious decision-making and responsible leadership in fostering a more inclusive world.
The need to investigate and define the hidden infrastructure of human access to reality is the point behind a personal story involving a fortune teller. This sparks a conversation about the unresearched forces shepherding our conscious attitude towards life. We question why the Bible's teachings are so forcefully evident in 2024. As we wrap up, Angela expresses her gratitude for the conversation, viewing it as a profound answer to her prayers. We invite our listeners to join the dialogue, fostering a sense of community and continuous exploration. Tune in for a captivating exploration of reality and the human experience, and don't miss your chance to expand your conscious approach to Life.

We have been protected on this planet and allowed to develop at our own pace. Our own human sense of "rightness" is causing us to reject "Authority established by Power" (Might makes Right) as a worthwhile tool for engendering further development. It is now our time to wake up, look around, assess the way we have been making decisions, work out better, more effective methods for making decisions, which will allow individual humans to progress while feeling part of the solution. The solution we crave is to continue to develop in a rational, stable, civilized manner.
It turns out that all the unrest we are experiencing was mentioned 2000 years ago by Jesus near the Mount of Olives. Jesus said that this would be a consequence of our continuing to use our own agenda, rationale and method for making decisions rather than expanding our decision making vocabulary to include the method God had tried to teach us. He told his disciples that it was necessary, we would not transition, otherwise. As an aside he mentioned an aspect of "corporate" humanity that we have not yet become aware of, but will address in future episodes.

Making decisions based on desire using individual perspective backed by accepted knowledge is fine for horse and buggy times, but those times have passed. We need to change to the reality-based method God urges us to use instead of depending on childish religious explanations. God asked us to employ logic manipulated by reason and checked using wisdom. We only recently discovered how to do this; we call it the Scientific Method.
Every scene and sentence in the Bible has a message for us. Absolutely none of those messages from God are religious. As children we used superstition as a stopgap for understanding. We can no longer afford to continue to act like children expecting Daddy to come home and make everything better, God has told us we need to grow up and has given us a remedial workbook (the Bible) to assist us.
In addition, He gave us Jesus as an example of someone raised fully human who was educated to the error of humanity’s ways. Jesus changed and tried to get the word out about “changing the way you think” (reality-based rather than perception based) almost 2000 years ago.
Now, we have arrived at the “wars and rumors of wars” stage Jesus told his disciples about. We need to get critical thinkers like Dr. Jordan Peterson and Dennis Praeger wrestling publicly with this information.

This episode shares the importance of examining the Bible using the lens of critical thinking rather than depending on traditional religious viewpoints and opinions, because the subject of human life on Earth is too important to be casual about.
The Bible has told us that we need to grow up and according to Jesus, we cannot do that unless we change the way we think from the infantile belief-based method for decision making that we currently use to the adult leaning Logical method that Science and the Bible have outlined for us.
Religious observance was THE main factor behind the shaping of our civilization. Religion is what got us to this point, but, it is now time to put religion and superstition aside. The “senseless” violence that is overtaking our civilization is senseless ONLY if you look at life through the traditional, childish lenses you’ve created. If you read the Bible for content rather than to support superstitious applications, you’ll rapidly discover that we are in the “wars and rumors of wars” end stage of our childhood. Jesus told his disciples that it was necessary for us to go through this, in order to get to the time when we will use logic, reason and wisdom to refashion our civilization to go forward and Jesus is being proven correct, once again.
Why have we never asked the question, “What are the algorithms that regulate and constrain our behavior? Is this increase in violence an extreme form of peer pressure? How did Jesus know, 2000 years ago, that we would need to go through this in order to force us to pay attention to restructuring our lives and our civilization?

In Episode 5 of "Why Are You Here on Earth?", we challenge the conventional narratives grounded in religious teachings by revisiting the story of Eve in Eden. We discuss the pivotal moment when Eve chose to act on her belief, setting humanity on a path often dictated by inherited rather than reality-based decisions. By examining this ancient tale, we argue for the necessity of a knowledge-based understanding of human nature and behavior, urging listeners to rethink the traditional timelines of Earth's creation and explore a deeper purpose beyond religious confines.
