For some reason we’re talking a lot about musicals!
Join us this week as we discuss Chargeman Ken the musical, the death from Final Destination involving the plate of glass, and the many animation inconsistencies of Gantz!
[Episode 17] Is It OK to Shoot Them?: The team's efforts to defeat the giant aliens are hindered by two thugs who are brutally tormenting a homeless man - the very same homeless man that Kei and Kato encountered just before their deaths.
[Episode 18] Welcome Back: Kei is on a rampage, leading the battle against the giant aliens. Unfortunately, when the towering beasts fall, the group discovers that their fight to survive is only just beginning.

Remember Psychostick!? They’re back! In podcast form!
Join us this week as we discuss the sheer volume of gratuitous/unnecessary sex Gantz has to offer, the fact that the studio that animated Gantz also animated the video for Linkin Park’s Breaking The Habit, and finally we try to truly understand what a pun is!
[Episode 15] Go Fast!: The Gantz calls the players for another round. Among the new faces gathered before the sphere: a television evangelist that thinks he has all the answers and a girl who seems willing to give Kei the attention he seeks.
[Episode 16] It's Me!: When Kato shares what he knows in an effort to help the new players, the evangelist begins to think something sinister is afoot. The holy man learns just how correct he is as the game's new targets make their presence known.

Somehow we keep mentioning The Simpsons!
Join us this week as we marvel at the continuing amount of outdated views this show has, ponder the happiness of episode titles, and remember Hoju!
[Episode 13] Please Die...: Kei, suitless and outnumbered by the Suzuki aliens, must face the biggest monster alone. When the battle ends and the scores are tallied, the group sees that there might be a way to escape their strange fate.
[Episode 14] Goodbye...: Change is in the air for the players of the deadly game. Fed up with his aunt, Kato finds a new place to live with his little brother. Meanwhile, Kei's attitude pushes Kishimoto away, and Tetsu's life spirals brutally out of control.

Gantz is making us feel something different this week…
Join us this week as we issue a content warning far too late, discuss the similarities of Suzuki to the Beatles, and remember what Ned Flanders insists on!
[Episode 11] I Can't Shoot Him: Kato is forced to take action to save Nishi from certain death, but he may not be ruthless enough to kill the Suzuki alien. Time is running out for yet another player trapped in the cruel world of the Gantz.
[Episode 12] Please stay here, Katou-kun: The group is beginning to figure out the rules of the twisted game in which they are caught, but survival is still far from guaranteed as the battle with the remaining Suzuki aliens erupts.

Well, if nothing else, Gantz is consistent!
Join us this week as we discuss this show's bottomless well of horny, ask the question “do ghosts use money?”, and lament about the difficulty in rating these episodes!
[Episode 9] Kill It There!: As the group prepares to track down the Suzuki alien, Tetsu's gang is creating conflict and Nishi's smart mouth isn't helping the situation. When tensions boil over, blood is spilled before the hunt even begins.
[Episode 10] Yuuzou-kun?: Without his suit, Kei finds himself in serious jeopardy when he captures the attention of the Suzuki alien. Nishi ends up in even graver danger when his suit malfunctions at the worst possible time.

It’s time for more Gantz! Which in turn means it’s time for more of what we’ve been talking about…you know, the sexism, violence, etc.
Join us this week as we try to appeal to a younger audience by understanding skibidi toilet, complain about the sudden appearance of Christmas decorations before it’s even Halloween, and recommend the 2010’s sitcom, Upstart Crow!
[Episode 7] We're After You: Kato's patience is being tested. At home, the abuse dished out by his aunt pushes him to the breaking point. Meanwhile, at school, a group of bullies forces him to take decisive and drastic action.
[Episode 8] Uh-oh!: A new round begins for the gang. Appearing before the Gantz, they find themselves joined by a diverse group of fresh players. As the game gets underway, Kei panics when he realizes his suit is nowhere to be found.

Gantz sure is the show that just keeps on giving…it’s a shame about some of what it’s giving, but here we are.
Join us this week as we warn you more about this shows’ potentially dangerous and outdated views on women, make reference to Dolph Lundgren’s ear-necklace from Universal Soldier, and explain that a BROLLY is an umbrella; not just a saiyan!
[Episode 5] Then That Means, at That Time...: Seemingly back among the living, Kato must protect his brother from their hateful aunt. Meanwhile, Kei's special suit gives him an advantage against the bullies at school. But will it help him when Kishimoto appears at his door?
[Episode 6] All Right!: Despite his best efforts, Kei remains unsatisfied during Kishimoto's overnight stay at his apartment. At the place Kato calls home, more ugly evidence of abuse piles up.

Gantz! Why did Steve think watching this as a follow up to Kino would help us?
Join us this week as we discuss the comparisons to Kino, Steve’s misery-vampire tendencies, and our recommendation to watch Riki-Oh!
[Episode 3] Kei, You're Awesome!: With the small alien dead, the large alien exacts his revenge, slaughtering many with the group. When the creature pursues Kei, the young man quickly discovers that his physical abilities are enhanced by the suit he wears.
[Episode 4] OK, Here Are Your Scores: The scores are tallied and Nishi explains some of what he knows about the rules of the strange world of the Gantz. The unusual situation grows even odder the next day when Kei wakes - and finds that this nightmare is no dream.

[Episode 1] It's the Beginning of a Brand New Day: After Kei and his childhood friend, Kato, are torn into bloody pieces by a speeding train, they awake in an unfamiliar room, surrounded by strangers. In the middle of the room is a bizarre black sphere: the Gantz.
[Episode 2] They Aren't Human: The Gantz opens, revealing unusual weaponry and odd suits. The strangers are sent into the city, ordered to kill an alien that roams the streets - and then the carnage begins.
