Successful true crime podcasts often use this formula - get a sassy gay guy with a woman who is overly enthusiastic about heinous crimes. That combo equals tens of thousands of dollars per month. This show is trying that but it’s a swing and a miss. The gay guy is trying too hard and the woman is just boring. Oh, and no one should be enthusiastic about these “stories.”
Trucker Andy and Lucy Tightbox both join the show to try to figure out why some of these episodes have so many views. Then we get into the spirit with some great new parody songs from Jodie B, Sarah, and Tony Muskrat. Lucy introduces us to the female DSP, a beggy monster named Lisa Richards. Another corny morning show gets blown out. Chris D’Elia’s brother seems to be phoning in phoning it in. Stuttering John got laid? He's implying that he got some (2nd base, 3rd base, 3rd input? it's not clear). Most women don't like you talking like this, he better not be misrepresenting his new girlfriend.

Remember Loveline, the show that introduced many people to Adam Carolla and Dr. Drew? IT’S BACK!! Oh, but those guys who made it good, they have nothing to do with it. Meet Kevan Kenney, a total cornball, and Dr. Tara, a woman who would be great if she didn’t talk.
David Collins joins the show to explain his discomfort with the format and topics discussed. Maybe he didn’t enjoy all the talk about small penises. Me and My Wife, the show Mike Calta does with his wife, talked about us again and he invited me on his radio show. There’s an update on the Riley (Young Clippa) legal battle against Eric July which looks like another win for the good guys. Steel Toe misses the goal by a lot and the beggy monster is not happy. There’s a new song parody from Ed and Myster Magenta. Nick Mullen and Dan Soder discuss Nick Rekieta. Stuttering John lets it slip that he was forced to resign. Also, he writes a new parody song in real-time and it’s fascinating to hear him work it out.

This week we’re talking about Todd Pettengil from the famous Scott and Todd Show on WPLJ 95.5 in NYC. We start with Todd’s last day on the radio and the embarrassingly tearful goodbyes. Then we check in on his short-lived online show that is no longer behind the paywall.
Drew Lane and Brandon McAfee from the Drew Lane Show join us (because we’re using their studio) to discuss Howse the Producer’s totally natural laugh at everything Todd says. Then we visit the Ron and Ron Show featuring Ron Bennington and the time they had a drunk and belligerent Don Johnson on their show. Mike Calta addressed our review of his show with his wife and Amanda is not happy that she’s being criticized. It’s because she knows that she has zero knowledge of Wu-Tang Clan and she’s a poseur. Stuttering John had a cop come to his house to check on the cats and so now he’s leaving the Dabbleverse forever.

Keren Margolis and Amanda Gail both refer to themselves as comics but through extensive research we could not find any evidence of this. Their “comedy” podcast is anything but funny. In fact, they sometimes talk about astrology for 15 minutes at a time (during a 30 minute episode).
Doug from Good Times Great Movies joins us to expose Amanda working out her “bits” on the show. Scorch is the Cringe of the Week as he brings back Weird News, hits on his cohost, and gets really weird with an underaged boy in the crowd. Doug reminds us about psychic medium Amber Amrhein who is now doing her podcast with her imaginary friends. Stuttering John was caught lying about his day job as a substitute teacher (again) and we also catch him in another big lie (because the internet never forgets). Finally we play a round of To Poke A Dabbler, tease the next episode, Annie reads recent reviews, and we get caught up on voicemails.

You’re waking up having coffee with the dog, aka minddog, aka Matt Nappo. This is a daily morning show with a panel of “comics” and “celebrity” guests. The panel includes such names as GD Fenderson (who you might know from Blind Mike’s show) and the guests include names like Jackie Martling (who you might know from Who Are These Broadcasters).
Trucker Andy joins the show to explore minddog’s music and his cohosts’ stand up comedy. Lucy Tightbox is also on the show as we take a look at how Haliey Welch (Hawk Tuah) and her team is handling her fans losing millions of dollars on her new $HAWK memecoin offering. Andy has an update on Jerry Banfield’s tips on crypto as well as the current state of Helga Mann and Lisa Boswell’s show (back to old form!). Stuttering John had ClayDabbler on and John didn’t like that his guest was challenging his actions. When you really break it down you discover that Stuttering John treats his family worse than anyone in the Dabbleverse possibly could. We wrap it up with a round of To Poke A Dabbler, the internet news starring Jenny Jingles, and your voicemails.

This week we’re learning about a fascinating character who we first encountered when we reviewed the Tower Gang podcast. Toad is an autistic man who loves dressing up for Halloween and has a serious addiction to sports gambling. He also ran for president and is a gifted musician. I have a feeling we’re only scratching the surface on this one.
TopLobsta from Nephilim Death Squad joins us for the first time since the live show in Tampa. After introducing us to his asexual friend Toad, we check in on Opie who had Jackie the Jokeman on his show. The two of them talk about the Dabbleverse and we find out how Jackie really feels. Scorch has a new venue for his show, a new sidekick, and what appears to be a serious drinking problem. Cardiff joins us as Cam from the Jacked Up Review Show is the subject of the most confusing interview you’ve ever heard. Stuttering John is striking Chad’s channel for no reason. Ray DeVito interviews one of John’s former coworkers from the Tonight Show. Finally, we play another round of to Poke a Dabbler, tease the next show, read a review with Annie, listen to your voicemails, and hear new songs from TheGreatSeaMoose and Myster Magenta.

Bubba the Love Sponge is another one of these radio personalities who is trying to figure out how to be a successful broadcaster in 2024. Unfortunately he’s getting his advice from Chrissie Mayr because his solution is a content house down in Florida with all of his buddies. Then, for some reason, they made a “movie” of the weekend.
Doug from Who’s Right joins us and don’t even think about claiming that he didn’t do his homework. Kino Casino is apparently gaslighting their audience for some reason, boy are they going to be disappointed when Patrick Melton doesn’t go to prison. Lucy Tightbox joins us to discuss Tana Mongeau and the epic disaster that was Tanacon. Doug wants to talk about Stephanie Brie and its breakdown of checkers vs chess. Stuttering John makes the most embarrassing wrestling promo ever. We wrap up with another round of To Poke A Dabbler and your voicemails.

David Lee Roth had a very short-lived radio career. When CBS recognized their mistake they had to go crawling back to Opie and Anthony. Erik Nagel brings some clips from DLR’s final radio show and his subsequent interview on the O&A show.
DSPGaming, aka darksydephil, has been ebegging on his show for a long time and people have been pointing and laughing for just as long. Even Aaron Imholte used to clown this guy, but we discover that Aaron learned many of his techniques from DSP. Opie came out recently and said that his experience on O&A was so stressful he wishes he was never on that show and that it was a waste of his time. Erik, who was his producer, has a lot to say about this. Stuttering John actually thinks that Howard Stern is a huge fan of his. He keeps getting crazier.

Jocktober has come and gone but there’s never a better time to check in on Mike Calta’s new podcast with his wife Amanda. Why do guys think doing a show with their wife, talking about their relationship and family, is a good idea? Unless you married an entertainer it doesn’t work, and even Rich and Bonnie have some mind-numbing conversations.
Vinnie Paulino joins us to discuss Mike’s loser son who is being coddled by his mother. After that, Lucy Tightbox joins the show to tell us about That Vegan Teacher, a woman who went from singing songs to getting into online battles with Gordon Ramsay. Tom Myers writes his first monologue since the election and boy is he dumb and unfunny. Patrick Michael is getting into the “serve Karl with a lawsuit” line. Stuttering John is doxxing everyone and thankfully ClayDabbler is calling him out. John doesn’t like that. And finally we play a round of To Poke A Dabbler, get an updated internet news segment, and listen to your voicemails.

This week we’re catching up with some old favorites starting with Aaron Imholte at Steel Toe. His buddy Johnny Krutches was reduced to tears on his show yet again and Aaron couldn’t have handled it worse. There are also new rules for the Goal and how/when to beg for money. It’s hard to keep up.
Trucker Andy joins us for some quick hits on old favorites. Patrick Michael is back with his new show, Mouth Like War, and his YouTube channel that no one seems to understand. Baseem went to Hong Kong and purchased 15 different J/O machines to try out and review for us. Frenchie has a trans woman on her show who wants to educate the public about herself. Kristine Knowlton wrote and starred in her own horror film. Stuttering John is back to drinking during his shows and when Rob Saul is on he’s not even the most wasted. Annie joins us to play a round of To Poke A Dabbler, read your recent reviews, and listen to your voicemails.

Dance Moms was a reality TV show on Lifetime up until 2019. There were a few moms on that show who really miss being in the spotlight so they decided to start a podcast. Of course, their annoying daughters are too old to exploit so they had to find a different angle. They’re giving advice!
Pat Oates joins the show to help us figure out why the one black woman has to use a green screen to fit in. The Hawk Tuah girl finally reveals her boyfriend and it’s awkward AF. Theo Von and Matt McCuster agree with me about taking dumps at home. Lucy Tightbox joins the show to tell us about the downfall of YouTube sensation GlitterForever17. Opie is still doing FU Fridays and has some choice words for Jim Norton. Stuttering John had his electric turned off multiple times and it’s everyone’s fault but his. We wrap up with a round of To Poke A Dabbler, the latest internet news, and your voicemails.

Henry and Jackie Zebrowski are doing a spin-off show from The Last Podcast on the Left. Rather than laugh about true crime, on this show they talk about pudding. And don’t mention yogurt, they get very upset when you mention yogurt. I don’t want to know anyone who finds this funny or entertaining.
Erik Nagel joins the show to help us break down why LA improv is so bad. Brian Karem is still doing a show with Stuttering John and no one can figure out why. Darren Paltrowitz joins us to take a look back at the time David Lee Roth was given a hugely lucrative radio contract after Howard Stern left for satellite radio. Mumbling Nick comes on to discuss Stuttering John’s attempt to wreck his life and we discuss the legality of getting a PI to investigate someone for the purpose of doxxing and harassing them. This show features five adults who think they have funny and/or interesting things to say. And no, I’m not talking about WATP. Crash With Us features five real-life Chip Chippersons which, in small doses, is actually pretty incredible.
Bryan Johnson from Tell Em Steve Dave joins us to try to make sense of these adults embarrassing themselves on a weekly basis. Lucy Tightbox is on with us to discuss Lillee Jean, a social media influencer who is taking the “fake it ’til you make it” motto to the next level. Aaron Imholte is having a very bad week as his ex-wife’s boyfriend showed up on This Little Piggy with some huge revelations. Speaking of revelations, Stuttering John finally admits he’s poor, doesn’t own a boat, doesn’t have a job, and isn’t a smart investor. This week we’re checking out some Italian guys in NYC talking about things Italians like such as pizza and pasta. I’m sure Italians like something else but I haven’t seen any evidence. Their guest is some young social media flash in the pan known as the Rizzler. Oh, and Mario Bosco is there. This whole show is a disaster.
Patrick Melton from Nobody Likes Onions joins the show to evaluate Mario Bosco’s stand up comedy “stylings.” Recent Jocktober subject Rich Shertenlieb was just canceled after less than six months on his new station and his old partner Fred Toucher is LOVING IT! Howard Stern did a show on Wednesday morning and tried his best to cope with Kamala’s loss. Despite Howard’s best efforts, all those darn racists voted for hate instead. Speaking of coping, Stuttering John had a rough election night. He brought on Brian Karem to analyze the election results. Their conclusion - it was all racists voting for hate. Cardiff and Annie join for a round of To Poke A Dabbler, the teaser, a recent review, and your voicemails.

This week we’re checking in on one of the biggest streamers of all time. Adin Ross was banned by Twitch last year, where he had over 7 million followers. So now he’s signed up with Kick where he’s an hourly employee. Well it’s not that bad, his hourly rate is five figures and he owns 30% of the company.
Missy B joins the show to talk about Adin’s recent interviews with Donald Trump and Candace Owens, as well as meet the funniest looking Discord mod you’ve ever seen. Kristine Knowlton supplies enough Halloween puns for cringe of the year in our Cringe of the Week segment. Tom Myers and Fred Toucher both respond to our recent episodes, one of them liked it. Aaron Imholte had Nick Rekieta in his chat and he’s still trying to figure out how to feel about it while explaining to us how we should feel about it. Stuttering John is still blocking anyone who puts an “L” in his chat because, and I’m paraphrasing ClayDabbler, he’s a sensitive little lady. El Horrible joins us for some breaking StutJo news, we tease Wednesday’s show, listen to the internet news, and get caught up on your voicemails.

Another Jocktober has just flown by. We finish off in Boston to review the show that broke off from the mighty The Toucher and Rich Show. Rich Shertenlieb thought he could break off and start his own thing without Fred Toucher. We’ll see but so far I don’t like his chances considering his segments include long conversations about facial hair, male nipples, and Tom Brady’s level of attractiveness.
Trucker Andy joins the show to get angry that Zakk Wylde is pretending to play guitar in Pantera. Howard Stern makes a mistake during his segment with Bruce Springsteen and blames Gary Dell’Abate. John Gabrus gives his assessment of our review of his show, Action Boyz. Helga Mann and Lisa Boswell are back and they’re still working with JJ. No Agenda gives a shoutout to Stuttering John who falls for yet another work. StutJo somehow spins it into another win… which is NUTS! April Imholte gets heckled during her omnibus hearing and it’s pretty funny. Kevin Brennan has Tom Myers on as a guest on MLC and I can’t tell which one is worse at broadcasting. Cardiff and Annie join the show as we play another round of To Poke A Dabbler, tease the next episode, read a review, and listen to your voicemails.

We’re back to Jocktober today with Arizona’s #1 morning show, featuring a guy who has the unique talent of making the same point for thirty minutes at a time. John Holmberg has some hot takes like the WNBA isn’t very good and neither is Lebron James’ son.
Trucker Andy and Lucy Tightbox join us to talk about Jason Mewes’ penis. Kristine Knowlton is better than usual thanks to a mute button. John Goblikon is an insurance rep who’s also a great podcast host. Ken Tamplin is caught buying subscribers now? This is not going well for him. Steel Toe has a huge announcement that’s going to save all of us a lot of money. Stuttering John is getting played by Vince the Lawyer like a fiddle and it’s embarrassing. This week we’re checking in on a show that stars a YouTuber and a reality show star, but not because of why you’d think. It’s because their guest is Mario Bosco, that weird 12 year old Italian girl who is actually a 51 year old Italian man. Danny spends the entire show telling Mario that Italian people are gross and worthless, which is the right way to interview that weirdo.
We’re joined by Tookie, Cardiff, and OJ to learn more about Mario’s neighborhood in Brooklyn where they beat up Irish people like it’s the 19th century. Sam Roberts had Mario on as a guest and clowned him to his face without his knowledge. Tom Myers talks about dipping his balls in coffee. Stuttering John has an amazing job offer paying him infinite money so he’s leaving the Dabbleverse. JJ Dabblez, the former producer of Trainwreck with Helga Mann and Lisa Boswell, joins us to defend himself about their channel getting nuked by YouTube. Another jam-packed episode today starting with a radio show that doesn’t seem like it’s a radio show. TJ and Riggins are two guys who are great at idle small talk for five minutes at a time. They’re joined by the once very attractive Lindsay Bloom who is probably a better dancer than a third mic. After listening to some morning shows with too much production and too much going on, this one has the least amount of production we’ve ever heard.
Blind Mike joins the show and is completely unaware that Ashley Graham is way too fat to be a model. Ken Tamplin threatens to sue people for posting negative comments and reviewing his vocal courses. Jerry Banfield does a comedy set that is schizophrenia personified. Aaron Imholte continues to live in a different universe, he gives us an update on his return to radio, and he counts down to the goal pennies at a time. Stuttering John is getting played, he turned on ClayDabbler because of what a fake ClayDabbler and fake The Legend superchatted him. Cardiff and Annie join us for another round of To Poke A Dabbler, a fascinating tease of the next episode, a podcast review, and your voicemails.
