  • With the 2024 Presidential Election coming up, the political divide and polarization here in the U.S. have been at an all-time high. When we’re caught up in the narrative of us-versus-them and perceiving others as enemies that need to be defeated, we feel so justified in attacking them. This mindset – enemy consciousness – is the basis for all the wars, violence, and conflict we see playing out in the world.

I used to feel so depressed that “all these people out there” were waging wars and perpetuating cycles of violence and hatred – until I learned the radical spiritual principle that everything I’m seeing in the world is actually in my own subconscious mind. I then became aware of how I was also wrapped up in enemy consciousness, attacking others in my mind and blaming them for my unhappiness.

In this solo episode, I’m sharing how I’ve been learning to let go of grievances towards everyone (yes, everyone) and love them unconditionally. A Course In Miracles calls this forgiveness. It’s a practice that has completely transformed all my relationships – and one that has the potential to heal not only your personal life, but also the whole world.

    I talk about:

    * What enemy consciousness is, and how it’s playing out in the world

    * The connection between what’s in our own mind and what we see out there in the world

    * How judging others and holding grievances hurt us – and what we can do about it

    * What forgiveness is according to A Course In Miracles, and two main ways I practice it

    * How your forgiveness can change the world

    … and more!

  • Many of us go on a spiritual path seeking lasting inner peace and freedom from suffering. We meditate, we say affirmations, we go to workshops and retreats, … we do all kinds of things for years and years to try to achieve that “awakened” state. But what if that peace and freedom we long for were actually available to us right here and now? That is what today’s guest, my dear friend and bestselling author Rosalyn Rourke, is here to help us explore and experience.

Rosalyn Rourke, MSW, has worked deeply in the field of psychotherapy for over 30 years, focusing on trauma recovery and spiritual well-being. After the unexpected death of her daughter Melissa, Rosalyn experienced what many would call a Spiritual Awakening. This led her to write the best-selling memoir and non-dual fable, When Wisdom Arrives: From Imagined Unworthiness to Freedom, which explores profound grief, body dysmorphia, mother-daughter struggles, and the release of imagined unworthiness. Recently, her chapter titled “Quantum Belonging: Embracing Life Beyond Limitations” in the book Become Empowered became an Amazon bestseller. Rosalyn now works as a Master Enneagram teacher and Oneness Coach, helping people discover deeper meaning, passion, purpose, and possibility through personality flexibility.

Rosalyn lovingly points out that, when we’re “seeking” peace, we’re operating from a place of lack, always reaching for something that we think is missing—but when we step into presence and simply be with what is without judgment, we can find peace and freedom in that steady place of “okayness” within us. And as we learn to rest in that place and no longer let our thoughts, feelings, or actions define us—everything becomes possible.

    We talk about:

    * The life-changing practice of noticing our looping thoughts and not “touching” them

    * Rosalyn’s awakening experience after her daughter unexpectedly passed away

    * Guided experiences of finding home in the okayness

    * Questioning what society taught us about life and death

    * When you are fully present and allowing each moment, life becomes a series of effortless movements

  • As we’re becoming increasingly tied to technology, the need for genuine human connection and inspired creativity has never been greater. Today’s guest, Chere Krakovsky, is a New York-based visual and performance artist who is on a mission to create welcoming spaces for spontaneous, real-life interactions in unusual places.

In this episode, Chere shares about her work, the challenges she’s faced as an artist, and how she became aware of—and released—limiting beliefs about herself and about art, to create a life of joy and freedom.

When we let go of preconceived notions about ourselves, other people, and the world, we can open our hearts to connect with one another, even as strangers, and engage with the world in a whole new way. As Chere says so beautifully, the opportunities to say yes to wonderful things, to creativity, to connection, to new possibilities, is everywhere, and in all of us.

    We talk about:

    * Chere’s journey as an artist: moving off the canvas to explore more spontaneous, performance-based work

    * How Chere’s nomadic upbringing influenced her creative work and spiritual journey

    * The Community Kitchen Table: Chere’s ongoing installation project about connecting with strangers in unexpected places

    * The beauty and magic of being together in-person

    * Releasing limiting beliefs and saying yes to a life of joy and freedom.

  • “Love yourself” has become a popular adage in the self-help and spirituality space. But there also seems to be some confusion, resistance, and stress around the idea of self-love. I know people who are so kind and loving to others but can be shockingly hard on themselves. I’ve also seen many spiritual students beating themselves up for having judgmental thoughts, giving into addictive behavior, or not being able to keep up with their self-care routine—myself included!

In this solo episode, I’m looking back at my own journey in learning to love myself and exploring the practice of self-love in a more accessible and compassionate way.

What if you don’t have to admire who you are or take a luxurious bubble bath in candlelight to love yourself (although these would certainly be nice)? What if loving yourself is simply about accepting all of you without judgment, no matter what you’re thinking, feeling, or doing?

    I talk about:

    * What does it really mean to love yourself?

    * What makes self-love so challenging?

    * How I forgave myself and began the journey of self-love

    * A few of my favorite self-love practices

    * Beyond self-love: Who am I, really?

    … and more!

  • Most of us learned to ignore or suppress our emotions in order to get by in this world. Even as spiritual seekers and self-help enthusiasts, we may still avoid feeling our emotions by judging, analyzing, and trying to control them. Suppressed emotions get trapped in our bodies and begin to cry out for attention in different ways such as chronic stress, looping negative thoughts, waves of even more turbulent emotions, or physical dis-ease.

But as bestselling author Allison Pelot explains in this episode, an emotion is energy-in-motion. By simply acknowledging and feeling it, it can begin to move and clear out. And as we do this for ourselves, we can begin to hold space for others to do the same. The potential impact of this practice is limitless.

    We talk about:

    * What an emotion actually is, and how to alchemize its energy by feeling it

    * Allison’s personal journey – from her upbringing as a competitive gymnast, to becoming a mother and an in-demand personal trainer – and how she learned to create space for herself and feel her emotions amidst various life challenges

    * How to hold space for ourselves and others when we are triggered

    * Is expressing an emotion the same as feeling it?

    * How Allison helps people thrive through her holistic wellness and personal growth offerings

    … and more!

  • So much of the stress and heartbreak we experience in our relationships come from wanting the other person to fulfill us, and trying to control them so that we can be happy. A Course In Miracles calls this a special relationship—a relationship based on fear, separation, and conditions.

In this episode, ACIM-based spiritual counselor Meghan Cefalu shares about the process that she and her husband went through to give their relationship over to the Holy Spirit, or their highest self, and allowed it to be transformed over the course of a decade—from a special relationship to a holy relationship—a relationship based on unconditional love and total freedom.

    We talk about:

    · What is spiritual counseling?

    · 3 core beliefs of the ego that causes suffering

    · A holy relationship according to ACIM: Loving someone in a way they feel free

    · How Meghan and her husband allowed their relationship to be transformed

    · Stories of healing and transformation in Meghan’s spiritual counseling clients

    … and more!

    About the guest

Meghan Cefalu is a spiritual counselor, energy worker and ordained minister. In 2019 she shifted her career from congregational ministry to one on one spiritual counseling in order to support spiritual seekers on their awakening journey.
