  • We all breathe, but did you know that there is a way to breathe in a way that you can start to heal your emotions? Breathwork is a technique that draws on the breath to facilitate emotional release.

    Today, Maria, and Tara speak with Trish Brewer, a trauma informed breathwork coach, reiki master teacher, and intuitive guide.   • Jonny Landels joins the podcast today to discuss diet-culture and intuitive eating from his experience. Jonny is an intuitive eating and fitness coach. His bio: You’re in the right place if you’ve always felt “too big” and “too heavy”.

    In this episode, Jonny shares his experience growing up with parents who had a complicated relationship with their bodies and food, and how that led him to believing he was ‘fat’ from a young age. In his 20s he tried very restrictive dieting, pushing himself to the limits with crossfit, and ultimately found a coach who focused on intuitive eating and finally saw positive results in his body and mindset.

  • Our bodies change as we age, and although this is completely normal, it is also normal to grieve for the body that we used to have.

  • Joining the show today is Bri Campos, a mental health therapist and body image coach based in New Jersey. She is the founder of Body Image with Bri and is passionate about all things body image and practices through the lens of health at every size, intuitive eating and fat positivity.

    Utilizing a weight incluse approach, she combines her clinical skills and lived experience to teach others how to maneuver through their own individual body image explosion. She specializes in body image education, including her unique framework on body grief.
