In this episode, I sat down with Liz Landon, M.Ed. Certified Hypnotist and Law of Attraction Coach to discuss the concept of neutralizing experiences and how shifting your mindset can transform the way you approach life’s challenges. Life isn’t always perfect, and that’s okay. We explore how every experience, whether joyful or difficult, is neutral until we assign meaning to it—and how this simple shift can free us from emotional overwhelm.
Liz shares her unique perspective on releasing resistance, reframing emotions, and stepping into a state of receiving, where personal growth can truly flourish. We talk about the power of self-compassion, how to speak to yourself the way you wish others had, and why the pressure to “fix” everything is more damaging than helpful.
We provide realistic tools you can use to handle tough moments without the pressure to be perfect, increase your mindfulness to increase your ability to neutralize negative experiences, embrace emotional discomfort and allow it to lead to real breakthroughs, and simple tactics for releasing resistance and welcoming inner peace.
This episode is a must-listen for anyone tired of the perfectionism trap and ready to embrace their full, messy, human experience and enjoy it.. Tune in and learn how to reframe your world without the stress of "getting it right."

I've got a confession to make: I've always felt a little...resistant when it comes to traditional "mom culture." You know, mom as a personality trait, the Pinterest-perfect lifestyle, and the endless #MomLife posts on social media. But why do we feel this judgement? In this episode, I'm digging deep to unpack the discomfort with embracing that full on 'mom' identity and what that really looks like. Is it just fear of losing ourselves, or is there something more behind the resistance? We are talking with personal trainer, yoga instructor, CEO, business woman and, of course, mom, Sarah Praise to have an honest conversation about what is causing our resistance to motherhood and how even if we decide to become a mom, that doesn't mean you have to sacrifice who you are. Spoiler alert: it's okay if you don't fit the mold. Let's embrace the messy, non traditional feeling towards motherhood together.

On this weeks episode I wanted to bring a little science and research to why the h*ll we can't seem to reach happiness. Turns out we have been focusing on the wrong things. I used my Coursera course "The Science of Wellbeing" and the book "Think Fast and Slow" by Daniel Kahneman for the studies and research provided in this episode. I review the most common things we think will make us happy, but don't and the proof it doesn't work. I end the episode reviewing why they don't make us happy and the one thing we do have control over that can help us work towards happiness, so we can stop wasting energy on what doesn't. If you are tired of working hard to be happy and feeling you consistently lack results this episode is for you.

Hi friends. I ditched ya'll last week and I apologize. The reason was this right here. I just haven't been mentally 100% at my best. A lot of overthinking, a lot of self depreciation and I just didn't have the mental capacity for an episode. I decided, even though I still wasn't at my best by the time I recorded this episode, that 1) I wasn't missing two weeks in a row and 2) this is what Well ISH is all about. No matter how many tools you have in your self improvement tool belt, there are still mental lows we go through and you are not a failure because of it. Hang out with me and let's get back to our best selves at our own pace <3
P.S. if you are having consistent feelings of overwhelming and heavy emotion Call 988 or Text 988 or Chat 988lifeline.org/chat for the Suicide and Crisis Hotline.

On this weeks episode I am discussing a fear that is very close to home, but in today's social media era not uncommon. Many of us work hard to not settle constantly being exposed to more of people's highlights in their life than they are to real life experiences. We are living in a time right now that if you follow the traditional path you feel like you are at risk of not living a fulfilled life. I want to show you in this episode how this fear is causing that to happen simply by having it more than it would if you allowed yourself to let it go, give yourself permission to be okay with your life, AND what you need to do in order to not feel like you are living a life that you don't like. If you are constantly trying to level up but never feel good enough or like you're doing it right this episode is for you.

This week I sat down with relationship coach Bethany Nic0le to discuss people generosity to feed their own validation, sense of worthiness, coerce you to do something you're not comfortable with, not allow you to set boundaries etc. we discuss how to cope with people who use generosity as a means of controlling you through validating themselves,, a means of preventing you to set boundaries, and ensuring you behave in a specific way. We also discuss how to ensure you do not behave this way, and if you do working to move away from it and not feel shame by it. We also discuss how to keep these people at bay when you cannot just cut them out of your life. If you are someone who has felt people do things just to get something out of you, this episode is for you.

On this episode I wanted to talk about something that you may not realize when you begin to really heal. How many issues come up in several relationships in your life and for a variety of reasons. It can leave you feeling alone, confused, like you're not good enough, like you're doing something wrong, pushing against your healing efforts even further. If you feel like you have been experiencing push back in your relationships lately, this episode is for you.

On this week's solo episode I walk through the Elite through several indicators that are telling of whether or not you're settling in your relationship. On this solo episode I dive into my most highly requested episode: how the hell did you have the courage to start posting on social media? SO many of the Elite want to know how I started, why I started, and what steps I took to create my podcast and have the courage to post on social media. I tell you guys my story from very beginning up until the creation of my first episode and lessons that I have learned since episode 1 in effort to help you see similarities between the two of us to highlight your own capability of creating something of your own. Throughout the episode I provide insights on what I think works best, how I overcame my fears, the best strategies I have found, and my step by step process in getting started including the actual equipment, programs, and websites I use to make Wellish possible. I end the episode with my best advice in overcoming the fear of posting online and guidance to help you find value in your content that is more than just money or following that will drive you to make content without worrying about the fear of other people's opinions. If you want to create ANYTHING not just a podcast or content online, but don't know where to start or feel afraid to start, this episode is for you.

No body, no matter how self improved they are is perfect. Even more, you typically have to experience some pretty toxic thoughts and actions to learn your lesson and get to a healthier spot because you know you did not like how that felt. Today, I wanted to bring you to the toxic side of Wellish and let you in on my cringiest regrets. I am telling you 4 stories that to this day make my skin crawl because of how embarrassed I am by the way my toxic brain chose to operate at that point in time, to help you learn from my mistakes and hopefully help knock some sense into you before you engage in some cringe city behavior. I follow each story up with the lesson I learned and how my self improved brain interprets the reason I acted out of pocket. If you need validation for your radical behavior or just an entertaining story time this episode is for you.
-
For the final episode of the 28 Days of Self Love I wanted to elaborate on the importance of putting intention towards self love and how it is the back bone of becoming your Elite self. I discuss how if we lost everything else, but had self love we would still be able to rebuild our self love, the most common mistake most people make in regards to self love on their journey to becoming their best self, and what self love will provide for your life. If you are in a vicious cycle of trying to become your best self and think that once you do you will love yourself this episode is for you.
-
I wanted to give you tools to carry with you for a long time after the series ends. Self soothing tools to make your feel safe. Tools to help your racing mind find a place of ease so you can think with more clarity and gain control of you overwhelm, overactive mind, high emotions, or whatever you are experiencing. No matter how far along you are in your self love journey you will benefit from these tools because even the "most healed" person (if that even exists) experiences negative emotions. While these tools will not solve your challenges, they will allow you to make clear decisions that you feel good about leading to you living a life of your choice. If your mind gets the best of you all the time or just once in awhile this episode is for you.
