In celebration of November being National Aviation History Month, this is Part Two of Two Episodes focusing on the history of flight, and features husband-wife Ron and Terri Guthrie. Hear about Ron's career as a pilot and three of their favorite aviation museums including Palm Springs Historic Air Museum, Ronald Regan Presidential Library, and the WWII Museum in New Orleans.
Ron Guthrie grew up in Mississippi and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi (where he and Terri met.) After graduation Ron attended Pilot Training with the United States Air Force and was assigned the F-15 Eagle Fighter Jet for the next 7 years. In 1987, Ron began a new aviation career as a Delta Air Lines Pilot where he flew for 33 years ending his career during Covid as a senior International Captain.
