Read by actor Hasitha Adhikariarachchi and recorded for Embellishment at KXT Broadway. Written by Madhavi Ashok from Chennai, India, who lives in Melbourne with her partner. Her interest in women’s issues steered her into international development and humanitarian work with UNICEF in India, Indonesia, Timor-Leste, Kenya, Namibia, and New York. Her non-fiction piece titled The Crossing was published in SBS Voices. Two short stories were published in ‘The Bombay Review’. She also released a short story collection titled ‘Demon on Fire and Other Stories’ in 2021.
