If having a greater revelation of who God is the only thing that we will get out of praying and fasting, that should be more than enough for us.

Are we seeking God’s hand (what He can do) more than His heart (who He is)?

God is not honored when our fasting is not connected with a sincere heart of obedience.

Devotion and prayer to God leads us to know Him. It gives us clear reasons to trust Him and provides the privilege to worship Him.

May we always have time with God in prayer and worship.

As we intercede, pray, and lift up all our concerns unto the Lord, may His peace assure us and surround us.

God is our refuge and strength in times of pain, and we can run to Him in our greatest need.

We need to be able to quiet our souls regularly for a period of time so that we can hear God’s voice and sense His leading and direction in our lives.

As we are faithful to steward these resources with integrity and wisdom, may God continue to pour out His provision so that more people would come to the saving knowledge of Christ.

May we continue to grow in our generosity and learn more and more how to live life fully trusting God and His providential hand in our lives.

Today, whatever is in our hearts—bring it to God. Ask. Seek. Knock. Your Father is listening, and He delights in giving you what is good.

The most meaningful act of generosity comes from an understanding that our Savior gave first.

As followers of Christ, may we be led to be generous with our time, resources, energy, and love for others.

Let us expect how God works in our lives when we proclaim the gospel, hoping that people will respond in faith towards Christ.

Walk with Jesus in good, in the bad, in life, even up to death. We lay down our life for the one who laid His life for us.

May we live out God’s purpose and His promises in our lives.

Let us fight the good fight of faith today, beginning with our worship to God.

As we worship, may the Lord lead us to His truth and align us to His will.
