What happens when actors stop being quiet and start speaking up: Season 3 of "Stage Combat The Podcast" premiering on July 23rd! Stage Combat is about fighting back when we are mistreated in our workplaces, no matter what stage we may be on in our lives! Hosted by attorney/advocate/actor Sean Hayden.
In 2019, Sean Hayden thought he had booked the role of his dreams as an actor at the prestigious Goodspeed Opera House in its production of "Billy Elliot, The Musical." As he drove over the Connecticut river and laid his eyes on the fairy tale Opera House for the first time, Sean had no idea what would be looming behind its doors. Or that a mental health crisis caused by his work conditions would cause him to investigate and reexamine his entire life. In the style of a true crime podcast, Sean boldly took us, in Seasons 1 and 2, into the insular world of the theatre industry in which the unspoken rule is, “You are not supposed to speak up. Or there will be consequences.” And he claimed his story.
In response to Sean's story, listeners of the podcast everywhere responded saying they felt seen, heard and validated. And now in Season 3, Sean is telling the stories of those listeners as they claim THEIR stories.

Esoterotica is a revolving cast of poets, writers, and storytellers based out of New Orleans exploring what it is to be sensual, sexual, creative, and connected. Erotica is defined in the dictionary as "literature or art designed to arouse sexual desire." We do not think this is enough. To us, erotica explores an integral part of the human experience, the pleasures of the senses. It combines the two binders of humanity, written language and sexual experience. We encourage you to enjoy this exploration with us.

I interview writers and artists who have used the creative process to try to make sense of this thing we call madness. I want to look at how the experience affects us depending upon where we live in the world, where we come from, and how we are treated and perceived whilst on our different journeys through the mental health systems. What helps? What harms? What matters?

In the relatively new and constantly evolving field of designing for human health, there is a need for access to the most current information and resources. This Podcast provides a forum for Inclusive Designers to exchange ideas, discuss design considerations, and share solutions for the challenges they face in creating healthy environments for people living with certain human conditions.
Fact: 1-in-4 Americans have some sort of “disability” … these can include issues associated with Aging; Alzheimers; Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD); Autism; brain injuries; cognitive disabilities; paraplegia; PTSD; and visual acuity, to name just a few.
This series looks at the biological aspects of both home and office environments to discover ways to make them healthier using methods such as movement, biophilia, sound, and lighting. It tackles topics such as universal design; health and design for the homeless; and city living. In addition, it addresses matters of environmental overall health, such as the dangers of furniture off gassing; resins; and electric magnetic fields (EMFs).
The aim of this podcast is to fill the gap among designers who create environments for health and well-being, and to establish a collaborative forum for discussing these ideas. And when appropriate, some episodes may even include a little fun. -
