On this weeks episode we bring on a dynamic duo of artists' with one solo and a band! First up is an artist coming in from Austin who goes by Johnny Fantana. He brings his take on fun and upbeat music and also creates super unique music videos that incorporate paintings that are colorful and makes him stand out from others. Then ending the show is the Tetsuo Band who was recommended by Lydia from the show before! They bring a different approach to punk combining their influences into one. In this episode we showcase 3 artists who have been working on their own music for quite sometime(: First guest is Lydia who has been involved with music since she was around 6 years old and feels as though it is engrained into her nature and being. Social Haze (Sam the Audio Engineer behind the scene) went from Soundcloud rapper to indie-folk singer and has taught himself the ins and outs of being a producer and artist. Ending the show is Mike Sangoy and learning his perspective on music and how he came about into making songs of his own.

On our final episode of Season 2 we bring in 4 artists who are sure to lift your playlist up to new heights! Our first guest on the show is Will Riley who's music can be described as indie + folk. The sheer emotion and passion shines so bright in the music he makes. Next up is Dietrich Calhoun who is a newer artist and once thought he would never go into music until stepping into the singer/songwriter club which helped him get into it and has improved so much over the span of just a year. Third guest of the show was John Brewer who was recommended by a guest from a previous show and showcases his country artistry with his band "The John Brewer Band". Last, but certainly not least is the dubstep, EDM, DJ Dimly also introduced in the episode just before this one. He has gotten to open for Flux Pavilion and finds inspiration through the underground bass music scene.
I hope everyone has enjoyed all the guests we have brought on for Season 2 and get ready for even more new artists coming in Season 3 starting in April!

After a 2 week we are back with more new artists from San Marcos! First we have Douglas Cramer who is a new artist singing soft heartfelt originals and making his debut into the music scene more recently! Next is $enpai$wift who has been making music for a while, started as being something fun to do with friends grew into popping up on stages all over. Then we have Scarin Folks who is a 2 man band that premiered their newest track "Cherry Daydreams" and will be have a release party at Alchemy Records on March 30! Last artist of the show is a hip-hop artist who goes by Ry Harper, he's been professionally recording music for around 13 years and also works for a record label that has been running for roughly 11 years!

We bring on 4 super talented artists each bringing their own unique flare on this leap day. Shady Blackwell comes on for a live set showcasing his "gritty, salty, bluesy" music and he has gone crazy crowd surfing in Arizona! Next up is Charley Ramsay who has a folk, blues almost country style to him after taking a long break from music. Third up we have the vice president of Hip Hop Congress show off his music and explain the balance of school and music. Lastly is Brajon who is a recent Texas State University graduate who aims to inspire people with his music showing off a personal side of himself.

In this new episode we get to explore 2 unique artists with very different backgrounds. First up we have Joshua Catiller who's originally from Alaska and moved into San Marcos, Texas. We get to hear about crazy stories from the north as well as his debut with originals sang live in the station! Ending our show we have a tear jerking story from Kenni Falls who suffered a nearly fatal car accident and shows her strength and determination to keep fighting. We also get to hear her unique voice sang live in the station!

The blend of storytelling to even outlaw references make for a unique sound of different genres. Next is EZ and Dirk from "Loose Screws and Rusty Hearts" which brings the power of emotions to life as they perform live in the studio! Coming right after is Kai (Kizzle) who jumps the energy up with his hip hop/rap and even speaking lyrics into conversation like no other. Ending the show is Richard (Pheelo) who is the president of the Texas State Singer/Songwriter club and shows off his heartfelt talent coming from Indonesia!

Next is Alexis with her first ever recording and coming in with her heartfelt music that has americana and southern influences. Coming after is Desmond (DFoy music) bringing his one of a kind music taste to life like no other and is a genre of his own. Last but not least was King La Jolla (Conner) with his take on "Cosmic Country" or "Alternative Country" and a sneak peak into his new new EP coming out this year!

To begin this episode we bring on 2 members from "Flight by Nothing" to showcase their 'atmospheric space rock' type music that brings a culmination of different inspirations from their 5 piece band. They recently had their 7 year anniversary as a band and have played over 300+ shows!! Right after we bring on Clarence J. Texiera (CJ) who's played in a number of bands around San Marcos since 2017. We get a glimpse into his instrumentals plus a song from an old band named "Cold Tony's". Ending the show we have Justin James Bridges and Kali Rose who eat, sleep and breathe music. JJB has done countless shows from having his own radio show, his music playing in over 40 countries and even getting to play on stage with some huge names in music. Kali Rose is a 7 year old popstar who wrote her first song at 3 years old and has been a natural musician her whole life!

In this episode we get a taste of 4 unique artists with different backgrounds. To begin we have Sam Downing who is a country/folk artist whose biggest inspiration is his dad and even makes music with him! He and his band (The Bandits) have been playing at a number of venues around San Marcos too. Next is Z Trippin (Zack Thomas) a hip-hop artist who puts his heart into each song . He is the great grandson of Willie Nelson and has been on stages since he was 5 years old. After comes in Parlay Pep who is a TXST Alumni and brings his artist + producer combo live. Showing off his instrumental beats and smooth rap. Ending the show is Guru Kozy the founder of the hip-hop collective group known as "Space Goonz". We get a first hand insight into the mindset of this group and the overall goal of bringing together community.

For the week before students go back school we have a rapid fire show with 6 different artists being showcased. Up to bat first we interview Henry (HXNRY) about his show called "Harmany" and also his studio that he personally runs. Next we show off DOOMKAZER who has a mix of 'hardcore trap metal' and mainstream music. Coming up right after is Kyan and Khaki who run 'The Rabbit Hole' which is a underground venue for artists to get their name more public and showcased with no cost. They also both make music of their own with Kyan being in a band named "Formality" and Khaki being a producer with experience over a decade. Unfortunately Ben Buck was unable to make it but you''ll still get a glimpse of his music in the show. Lastly, we bring live music in the station with Fomari who is a local San Martian and has a huge array and depth of musical talent.
