You may think you know the cause behind your toddler's meltdowns, but do you really?
In this episode, Heather discusses the real reasons behind your toddler's tantrums and they may not be what you think!
Is your toddler really upset that he got the blue cup instead of the green one or is he frustrated that he just can't seem to communicate what he wants?
Is your toddler really upset with her toy or does she just not know how to wait patiently to go to the park?
Most of the time, our toddler's tantrums aren't really what they seem on the surface, so we have to dig down deeper to the root issue to figure out how to support our toddlers better and help them to tantrum less.
If you think you've got your toddler's tantrums figured out, then you may be more than a little surprised once you hear this episode!
It's time to get out your toolkit and make room for another helpful tool in parenting your toddler with grace and calm.

About Clare and Heather:Clare - "Hi, I'm Clare Samol and I am a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner as well as a Holistic Health Coach.
My training comes from Functional Diagnostic Nutrition, a methodology that investigates healing opportunities within your body’s systems, and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, which pursues a holistic health approach focusing on the interactions between food and wellness.
While these organizations represent my formal training, my own personal experience with holistic health began years before when I suffered from chronic stomach pain and was never given any real answers on what to do. It was my first understanding in how diet, stress, and environment can have a major impact on our health."
Heather - "Hi! I’m Heather and have been teaching Pilates since 1999. I am a Mother of 2 boys and I own this wonderful business where I get to help people find their groove again. After my first was born, I healed my Diastasis Recti and pelvic floor using the methods I have learned through Pilates and other DR work. After my second, I was so busy with the first, I had a much harder time healing my DR. After 3 years and still not loving the way everything looked, I dove deeper.I lift, CrossFit, and practice Pilates. My core was strong, but after having two babies late in the game (my first came when I was 37 and the second right before I tuned 40), I lost more elasticity than I was willing to admit. The work I had done was working to a point and halting.
I found Sarah Duvall’s Postpartum Exercise Specialist Certification program and through what I have learned from her and my own experience, I have been developing a system to help mamas heal their pelvic floor and Diastasis, help answer those embarrassing questions as to why I pee when I jump, and empower these mamas to feel strong and beautiful."

Parenting a complex, or neurodivergent, child is full of its own unique challenges and obstacles that add onto the many routine challenges we already face as parents everyday.
When we don't know how to support our children in the best way, or don't understand the why behind our children's behavior, we often get caught up in a cycle of stress, frustration, overwhelm, and anger.
The key to breaking the stress cycle is to gain a deeper understanding of why our children do what they do and gather the right tools for guiding them in a way that makes sense for them.
In this episode, Heather sits down with parenting coach Diane Dempster to discuss how to best guide and facilitate neurodiverse ("neuro-spicy" as Diane likes to call it!) children in shifting difficult behavior and finding better ways to cope.
Come join in the conversation to discover how you can lead your complex child more effectively from a place of true calm, mindfulness, and grace!

Are you making this mistake with your toddler?
This parenting tactic often becomes the biggest regret for many parents as their children grow into teens and then adults.
It often causes a rift in the parent-child relationship, creates shame-based beliefs for children, and stops them from developing their natural gifts and strengths.
Rather than playing against our children’s strengths to change their behavior, what if we leaned into their strengths and helped them develop those strengths the right way?
Join Heather in this episode as she discusses a topic close to her heart and one she feels every parent should be aware of.
