In March 2024, a woman's body was recovered from the River Mersey close to Chorlton Water Park in South Manchester. This woman had no identifying belongings on her and Greater Manchester Police have since created a facial image reconstruction to help identify her.

On October the 9th 1967, a decomposed body was found in a copse close to Middlewich in Cheshire. It was found to be Herbert Wilkinson who had gone missing in June of that year. His murder is still unsolved and many questions remain.

On the 11th January 1971, 52 year old James Keltie was found in the garage of his home. He had been bound, gagged and beaten in what officers believed was a robbery gone wrong. Despite a large investigation, his murder remains unsolved over 50 years later.

On the 16th of June 1980, 14 year old Patsy Morris left Feltham Comprehensive school in West London and disappeared. Her family and police searched for her and 2 days later she was found murdered on Hounslow Heath. Despite possible connections to serial killers and many enquiries it still remains unsolved.

On December 3rd 1981, 44 year old Douglas Mortimer failed to turn up to meet his friends at his local social club in a suburb in Birmingham. His family haven't seen him since and there has been no trace of him or his car in the years that have passed. This is now one of the longest running missing person cases that West Midlands Police have.

In September 1998, 33 year old Mum of 7 Patricia Lashley disappeared from her home in Dudley in the West Midlands. Her disappearance did not raise concerns until nobody had heard from her by the next summer. Despite police searches and appeals nobody has heard from Patricia since.

On the 23rd of January 1989, Frederick and Miriam Dunkley arrived back to their home in Clifford Road in Wembley, London. The couple were a hard working pair looking forward to their retirement. Just 40 minutes later, a fire was spotted in the garage of their home. Frederick and Miriam were found murdered in their home. Their case is sadly unsolved.I

On the 23rd of December 1992, 14 year old Johanna Young headed out from her home in Watton in Norfolk. Watton is a quiet rural place with little happening particularly on this evening when it was foggy and -3. Her parents became concerned when she didn't return to do her paper round the next morning and immediately police were out searching for her. Two days later her body was found in a water filled pit around a mile away. Police were and are still convinced a local person had to be involved but who killed Johanna?

On September the 7th 1974, 30 year old Tom Hewitt had been at his garage on Bright Street in Bury. At around 11:30am, a co-owner of the garage turned up and found Tom with severe head injuries. He later died from his injuries. Despite appeals, a reconstruction and a £10 000 reward, Tom's case is still unsolved and his family deserve answers.

In the early hours of the 14th August 1982, Gurcharan Singh Landa or John Landa as he was commonly known was stabbed 87 times in the taxi that he drove in Nottingham. A huge investigation was launched with a witness even seeing the murder take place however since then his murder has remained unsolved. I have worked with John's family to raise awareness of his case.
