David is an entrepreneur who ran at the University of Portland who's always had a creative side. He took the non-traditional route after college and decided to move to New York and take the free lance path to the max. Now a founder and owner of 2 businesses, David teaches us a bit about how having multiple interests and weighing your schedule out well can lead to happiness and success.

Thankfully for the guys, Coach Ronald Forbes the Volunteer Assistant Coach at FIU, is a 3 time Olympian for the Cayman Islands. Coach Ron was very open to talking about his humble beginnings of the sport, like when he had to run to his local track for practice and then run back home after. We touch up on his successful career and how he's dealt with adversity.

David Ribich was a 4:10 1500m and 2:04 800m runner in High School. The thought of going pro was always in the back of his head, but he knew he had to put in a tremendous amount of work to get to that level. With the help of tremendous coaching and his patient approach to training, he progressed over the years. He now has the 1000m, 1500m, and 3000m DII records. Having just signed his first professional contract with Brooks, he has shown that with the right attitude dreams can become a reality. On this episode of The Underground Running Project, David our host interviews David Ribich and breaks down his career and progression over the years as well as his new book, Small School Big Dreams.
