Dr. Ken Harris opens up Truth In The Afternoon by deciding to unpack conspiracy theories & asks why the larger public is so quick to believe stories & tales that in reality make no sense to begin with. From a past white supremacy manifesto to "the great replacement" & the significance of "1488", Dr. Ken asks Truth Nation to call in and speak on Conspiracy Theories they believe have real weight and significance to our history and current events.
Dr. Ken then introduces one of the most prolific conspiracy theories of all time in the "Protocols Of Learned Elders of Zion" which was a rumored Jewish plot for world domination and the shakey details surrounding it, further expanding on why people refuse to avoid facts and lack of evidence surrounding some of these ideals. As callers chime in and give theories as to why they see the world for what it is, things get heated and lively on the airwaves. -
We begin hour 2 of Truth In The Afternoon with the Top 5 @ 5 and all the stories you may have missed in and around Milwaukee which includes: 414 day & festivities around the city, a bus crash in Oak Creek, WI, an upcoming traffic impact on I-41 due to a rehabilitation project scheduled for completion in 2026, along with updates on the Maryland father who was deported to El Salvador unjustly & why Dr. Ken is upset this happened to begin with.
Later in the hour Dr. Ken gives his thoughts on the state of music & the laziness of those in the industry at larger award shows to build out more categories and branches to hip hop & rap as a whole. As callers chime in to end the hour we unpack everything from race relations to Trump's recent actions in cohorts with El Salvador & then some. -

Dr. Ken Harris begins Truth In The Afternoon with a topic he teased yesterday, that being the "Insurrection Act of 1807" & how President Trump is gearing up to use troops to defend our southern border. Dr. Ken takes the time to clear up what the act actually covers and what it could affect in the long run, along with his hopes that the supreme court and other elected officials step in to avoid this actually becoming a thing.
Dr. Ken then reads off a frightening CBS story of a local man charged with animal cruelty after numerous dead reptiles, dogs, & birds were found on his property, reacting to the outrage from locals and animal activists pushing for the maximum punishment. He questions why there is not as much of an outcry for human lives here in Milwaukee & the senseless acts that harm others in our community daily. -
Dr. Ken starts the second hour with a hilarious recap of a first date taking place before his very own eyes, along with his Top 5 @ 5 which recaps the stories in and around Milwaukee you need to hear which include: A South Milwaukee school mandating students to take a breathalyzer test to enter prom, popular Abbott Elementary actor Quita Brunson's controversial comments on white people, and a horrifying story of a man found dead from a fire by a family member and the confusing details around why the man was not discovered sooner with other pertinent news.
Dr. Ken then speaks on his sacrifices for his children's betterment and education as they attended private schools, because of his belief it would supply them better opportunities, and engages with other listeners in our chat. -
In hour one of Truth In The Afternoon, Dr. Ken directs his attention towards Wisconsin School Superintendent Jill Underly regarding her comments on impending federal DEI deadlines & questions her concern for the welfare of the children in our school system along with their futures. As funding becomes more dire than ever Dr. Ken urges Underly to not fight with her own political agenda, but rather do what is best now and figure out solutions later.
Listeners passionately chime in and discuss the officials in charge of where these kids are taught and why more isn't being done to protect them and aid their education, which leads Dr. Ken to list off how he believes we can bring about change in the school system. -
Dr. Ken kicks off the second hour with his Top 5 @ 5 with stories in and around Milwaukee you need to hear about which include a recent hearing to debate tougher penalties on unlicensed drivers in Madison Wisconsin, Democratic Party Chair Ben Wikler announcing he is stepping down after 6 years, along with a 66 year old woman in Wauwatosa who was fatally hit by a train among other news.
Dr. Ken then poses an interesting question to Truth Nation, in asking if Black people are and should be the only ones who can showcase Black art? From movies, to plays, and books he wonders why we put restrictions on what either side is allowed to showcase and depict and ends with news of famous Sports Analyst Stephen A. Smith contemplating a run at the presidency someday, while explaining the lack of reaction to engineer change from our current administration and past ones. -
Dr. Ken declares it open line Wednesday on Truth In The Afternoon, discussing a conversation he overheard regarding the current administration and the fear Black Americans have of losing everything. He questions the reliance the larger public has on the same people who failed to succeed & why Kamala Harris has become our go to opinion on the Trump administration.
Dr. Ken Harris also remembers the Democratic party of old and questions the toughness and direction of the party as we deal with our current political state. We then segue into a lighthearted conversation with a burning question to Truth Nation about just how often they handle household chores like mopping, sweeping, & laundry. Dr. Ken chats with his producer Glenn & explains his process and mindset on keeping his space clean. -
Dr. Ken opens hour two with his Top 5 @ 5 which feature stories you need to hear about and may have missed in the news which include: A Waukesha teen facing two counts of murder in the first degree in the deaths of his mother & stepfather, numbers from Milwaukee PD indicating crime is dropping after a recent news conference, and two brothers who pulled off a heist for $11,000 from a Walgreens of all places along with other news.
Dr. Ken also reacts to the news of Trump fighting back against China with a hold on Tariffs everywhere else & speaks to why this actually should have been done sooner with regard to the quality desired for products & stolen intellectual properties. -
Dr. Ken Harris opens Truth In The Afternoon with a discussion on his personal life and being a creature of habit, as are most when it comes to resisting change and new beginnings. Dr. Ken expresses his thoughts on the church and religion in relation to a church under scrutiny for accepting tithes through digital payment & asks Truth Nation where the outrage comes from for people who choose to give for something they adore & believe in no matter how the payment is actually made.
Dr. Ken opens the floor and asks Truth Nation: what does the church mean in your life & why are we so aggressive and opinionated towards those choosing to seek refuge in & give to something that does not yield immediate results. -

We then segue into Dr. Ken's Top 5 @ 5 where he shares all the stories you may have missed in and around Milwaukee which included a teacher's aide recently arrested on child pornography charges, outrage from local officials as I.C.E agents arrest two people in Milwaukee Court Building & a recent PPP settlement regarding a few businesses in Wisconsin among other things.
Dr. Ken then directs his attention to the "BeyHive" as fans have expressed their outrage with her prices for merchandise and her upcoming "Cowboy Carter" tour, telling those who love him dearly to not even consider purchasing something priced so wildly for him. A conversation about Beyonce sparks a debate about older artists who could draw quite a crowd and get fans to dish out any amount of money for a performance. -
Dr. Ken Harris is back from assignment on Truth In The Afternoon, with his thoughts on the state of our economy due to the recently imposed tariffs from President Trump. From political leanings to the state of our economy during Trump's first time in office, he questions where the panic is coming from & urges the public to do more research on the nature of the market along with its ebbs & flows.
Dr. Ken takes calls from listeners and discusses black wealth, asking Truth Nation if we should maintain black businesses and entities, along with their thoughts and ideas on how to maintain and pass down assets to the next generation. -

In hour two of Truth In The Afternoon with Denise Thomas guest hosting, she is joined in studio by DaShanda Clark of "Pathfinders" to discuss the organizations involvement in the community in relation to the youth in Milwaukee and tackling our homelessness problem head on. DaShanda and DT talk all things inclusion as well as the stigma in the black community regarding the transgender community and LGBTQ+ issues as a whole.
DT circles back to the topic of hour one and fields calls from listeners discussing their thoughts and experiences as Black Americans in schools and question why we fight so hard for something that clearly was not designed for us nor loves us back. -
