In hour two of Truth In The Afternoon with Denise Thomas guest hosting, she is joined in studio by DaShanda Clark of "Pathfinders" to discuss the organizations involvement in the community in relation to the youth in Milwaukee and tackling our homelessness problem head on. DaShanda and DT talk all things inclusion as well as the stigma in the black community regarding the transgender community and LGBTQ+ issues as a whole.
DT circles back to the topic of hour one and fields calls from listeners discussing their thoughts and experiences as Black Americans in schools and question why we fight so hard for something that clearly was not designed for us nor loves us back. -

In hour one of Truth In The Afternoon with Dr. Ken Harris, he opens up with an unapologetic proclamation of how proud he is to be a Black Man and his thoughts on those who are falling behind. Dr. Ken offers up a new version of his "Top 5", with his list of things Black Americans need to know and comprehend in order to survive in this treacherous and confusing country we love so dear. Dr. Ken then opens up the lines for Truth Nation to discuss the Hamas & Israel conflict and how best should either side proceed for a passionate and heated debate.

Hour 2 of Truth In The Afternoon opens up with another Top 5, as Dr. Ken Harris fills Truth Nation in on pertinent information like election day & what is at stake in Wisconsin and around our country, a concerning cancellation of food to be delivered to the Hunger Task Force being cancelled, updates on Luigi Mangione who is charged with the murder of United Healthcare C.E.O Bryan Thompson who is facing the death penalty, and a potential reboot of a beloved black show from the late 80's.
Dr. Ken then segways into a conversation on the hypocrisy of the Death Penalty and how there is no healing process or justice when another life is taken in response, along with harping on his topic in hour one of more things Black Americans need to do in relation to educating themselves and protecting their resources for the long run. -
Truth in The Afternoon begins a biT later than usual with Dr. Ken's thoughts on the tough Brewers loss today along with the history making beatdown they suffered at the hands of the Yankees. Dr. Ken then discusses a Supreme Court event on religious groups being ruled tax exempt and his concerns on the government having control to deep certain groups worthy and unworthy.
Dr. Ken also gives his thoughts on wage gaps and asks Truth Nation how they feel about the rich being in their position with resources and money abundant along with a passionate call about how everyone can't be strung along when trying to build a collective and how we all can respect self-made millionaires and billionaires as resources to grow ourselves. -
In hour "two" of Truth In The Afternoon with Dr.Ken Harris, he opens up with his Top 5 @ 5 in which he discusses stories to pay attention to in and out of Milwaukee like Elon Musk's rally where he awarded 2 million dollars to Brad Schimel supporters, how this was attempted to be prevented a few days before, as well as the shocking NBA brawl last night between the Detroit Pistons & The Minnesota Timberwolves among other topics.
Dr. Ken then speaks on Halle Berry's surprising comments on her status as the only black woman to win an Oscar for best actress, as well as his small but large problem he is facing as a homeowner of late. -
Dr. Ken starts off Truth In The Afternoon & Pop Off Friday discussing a lawmaker and their comments out of Washington state regarding the Transgender athlete ban & comparing the decision to that of Jim Crow laws in the 50's & 60's. Dr. Ken asks why we refuse to see the safety issues and potential dangers of those born as the opposite gender competing with women, as well as the reckless thoughts and lack of consideration for genetics making women inherently different from men in regard to a physical standpoint.
Dr. Ken also goes off on a coworker for a hilarious habit they have among others who seem to not have their priorities in order when it comes to their personal devices. -
In hour 2 of Truth In The Afternoon with Dr. Ken Harris he begins with a heartfelt conversation with a listener about the good ole days when candies cost a few cents and money went much further than it does today with Shrinkflation affecting detergent, chips, candies and more. Dr. Ken then segways into his top 5 @ 5 discussing stories you need to know about like a teacher who exposed himself to his kids in Arizona behind his desk, a lawsuit involving an officer from Milwaukee and a faulty gun which hurt his partner among other government situations and issues.

Dr. Ken lets listeners chime in with their thoughts on what is acceptably ghetto and who truly perpetuates the stereotypes associated with this confusing word. From their favorite celebrities to their own experiences in the ghetto or seeing ghetto things it is an entertaining and enlightening conversation.

Dr. Ken also unpacks his Top 5 @ 5 with updates on the sale of DNA testing company 23andme and how public information is at risk, along with his thoughts on a recent school safety roundtable on school officers & other pertinent topics in and around Milwaukee.

In hour one of Truth In The Afternoon, Dr. Ken begins with a recap of the absurd and controversial memo released by 5th district alderman Lamont Westmore as well as his clarifying statement on his cry to Milwaukee to decrease the littering and to keep our streets clean. Dr. Ken asks Truth Nation why is he backing down when he's in the right & urges those in power to enforce stricter fines and penalties for those who are clearly in the wrong. Dr. Ken also expresses his outrage with those upset with Lamont Westmore and insists they deal with the consequences of their actions or pitch in to help clean our streets.

Dr. Ken challenges what white culture is and the hypocrisy on both sides of the fence regarding the history between whites and blacks when the past is out of our control and urging blacks to "Keep Moving" in regard to changing the outlook and narratives.
Dr. Ken also fills Truth Nation in on leader of the democratic caucus Hakeem Jeffries comments on Wisconsin Supreme Court Candidate Susan Crawford in the hopes of her securing congressional districts. -
In hour two of Truth In The Afternoon with Dr. Ken Harris, he begins with his Top 5 @ 5 discussing stories you need to know in and around Milwaukee which included a young father being charged with a homicide after shooting his child's mother, and a ridiculous Wisconsin lottery increase set to come which prompts Dr. Ken to ask: Who even still plays the lottery?
Later in the hour Dr. Ken is joined in studio by entrepreneurs & business owners who are also mother & daughter in June Perry-Stevens & Krystle Rodgers from BestEd Business who share how they grew their business acumen, what all they are involved in around Milwaukee, and how they believed so truly in sacrifice and in their vision as women when others denied them the opportunities they now provide for those like them. -
Dr. Ken Harris returns from assignment on Truth In The Afternoon with a quiz for producer Glenn on some of the numbers and salaries one would need to be deemed financially stable in Milwaukee County, and the numbers may blow you away depending on where you fall along the lines. Dr. Ken then is joined by Milwaukee Supreme Court candidate Brad Schimel to discuss a myriad of topics including what's currently being done for the black community, his thoughts on equality and equity, as well as his recent vote of confidence from President Trump and more.
