Rev. Jeanelle Nicolas Ablola is a second-generation Filipino American--queer, trans, neurodivergent, anti-imperialist--and is currently serving at Pine United Methodist Church, San Francisco. They are rooted in the movement for national democracy in the Philippines and regularly lead solidarity trips to the country. They are Co-Chair of the UMC Cal-Nev Philippine Solidarity Task Force (PSTF) and a member of the National Ecumenical-Interfaith Forum for Filipino Concerns - NorCal (NEFFCON). Velda Love serves as Minister for Racial Justice in The Justice and Local Church Ministries of The United Church of Christ National Office in Cleveland, OH. The goal of her work is to dismantle and eradicate racism by understanding the role and intent of the creation of colorism categories, the construction of whiteness , and people of color myths. Velda brings an African-centered, black liberation, and Womanist approach to the Bible and theology, placing God at the center of life and faith.

Kathryn V. Stanley is an Atlanta-based educator, writer, editor and public theologian. Her writings appear in a number of publications. Kathryn supports both youth and adults in enhancing their writing skills. Most recently, she served as writing coach to a group of women who participated in a writing intensive with Dr. Renita Weems at the Collegeville Institute. An intergenerational daughter of teachers and preachers, Kathryn was educated in the public schools of Washington, DC, Spelman College, the University of School of Law, and the Candler School of Theology at Emory University. Rev. Alba Onofrio and Yaz Mendez Nuñez are queer Latinx Southerners whose commitments are to love, joy, and the struggle for liberation. They serve as the Co-Executive Directors of Soulforce, a national organization whose mission is to end the religious and political oppression of LGBTQI people by sabotaging white Christian Supremacy through relentless nonviolent resistance. Ash-Lee Woodard Henderson is an Affrilachian (Black Appalachian) working class woman and the first Black woman Executive Director of the Highlander Research & Education Center, a historic social justice leadership training school and cultural center. Ash-Lee is a long-time activist working against environmental racism and for workers rights, racial justice, and women’s and LGBTQUIA+ rights across the South. She serves on the governance council of the Southern Movement Assembly and is a nationally recognized leader in the Movement for Black Lives.

Jessie J. Crockett is an up-and-coming teen author focused on equality for all no matter their race, gender, or sexual orientation. She has published one novel entitled Jessie Zion’s Divine Quest and is currently working on her second novel scheduled to be released early 2020.
