  • Episode 101 - Jor-Dan & Joe Prime w/ James Hopp from Rock With Hopp

    In this episode we begin by hitting up Marvel Weekly for the brand new Captain Marvel Trailer as we break it down and rate it, and speculate about the film. Also in Marvel Weekly this week we learn of a new plan by Marvel to unroll a new slate of mini-series tv shows on the upcoming Disney Streaming Service "Disney Play". So far they include a new Loki series and a new Scarlet Witch series with more "lesser known" characters to follow. We also learned of a new female-led superhero show coming from ABC, as we talk about that, and the differences between the upcoming MCU shows and the ABC Marvel TV Shows, among a whole lot more in Marvel Weekly this week. In DC Weekly this week we go over our thoughts on all of the set reveals out of the new Joker movie starring Joaquin Pheonix. How do we feel about all of these reveals? Also in DC Weekly, the Joker movie cast its Thomas Wayne, the upcoming Joker & Harley Quinn DCEU movie script has been completed, the 2019 Arrowverse Crossover reveals we may be heading to Arkham Asylum, and Brec Bassinger has been cast as our new Stargirl in DC Universe! News is slow and hard to come by, but we did get some big Star Wars Episode 9 News, we got some Joker Movie casting news, and we learn about our main character in the upcoming Star Wars Resistance, plus more. This is the time where we can go on rants, catch up on our tv viewing, and do some reviews! Castle Rock Episodes 1-3 premiered on Hulu last week as we review and discuss all 3 episodes to highlight Tube Talk this week. Also in Tube Talk this week, James watched all of Glow Season 2 as he reviews that for us, Jordan started watching Mad Men as he gives his review on what he's seen of that so far, and David caught up on some shows that he talks about as well. We then head on down to the Trailer Park as we discuss and rate the new Mayans MC Trailer, and talk a bit about Sons of Anarchy, and what we think could carry over from that show to Mayans.   • We're back. After a week off, the guys return with a whole lot of News and a whole lot of Tube Talk. We actually start this one with a rant from Jordan about some b**** that spit on his comics. We then proceed to bullshit, and end up with our first segment this week being about the true crime documentaries "The Staircase" and "Making A Murderer" on Netflix, as we talk about those two shows, and what we think really happened in both cases. We then move on to The News where we 2 weeks worth of Geek News for everyone. Highlighting the News this week, is the Obi Wan film filming after all? We learn of a report stating they will begin filming for the movie next year in Belfast, so we discuss that, as well as Billy Dee Williams returning as Lando in Star Wars Episode 9. Also, we get a leaked review of DC Universe's upcoming Titans TV Series, and we give a break down of that first episode, and boy are we excited from what we learned. Also in news, the Joker Origin movie has become official, as Joaquin Pheonix is officially cast as Joker, and we learn more details about the film as well. Neill Blomkamp is hired as director of the upcoming RoboCop reboot, Quantum & Woody and Skyward are both being adapted into live action TV, and a LOT more in news this week. In Tube Talk this week, we have a lot of movies to discuss. Joe talks about The Last Defense, David talks about a few things he watched, and Jordan reviews "A Quiet Place" (one of his favorite movies now), as well as "Rampage", "Logan Lucky", "The Disaster Artist", and "Pacific Rim Uprising". The Rickmobile is on its 2nd year of touring, and Jordan was able to go to it in Wichita. We kick the show off with a new weekly quickie segment "The Supercast Big 3", where Jordan gives his 3 biggest comics of the week, and also previews next weeks 3 big comics he thinks you should get. We hit up the Trailer Park to discuss the new "The Predator" trailer, as well as the new "Death of Superman" trailer. Highlighting the news this week, we get another rumor of a Rocksteady Superman game for DC News plus more. We get a lot of Avengers 4 news as well as a possible spoiler slip up from Gwyneth Paltrow, and we also get our early Deadpool 2 reactions, and is Juggernaut in this film? For Star Wars News, we FINALLY get our first reactions from Solo: A Star Wars Story screenings, plus we learn what time period John Favreau's live action Star Wars show will take place in, and we now know when the Obi-Wan move will start filming. In other news this week, we are finally getting a Bill & Ted 3! Rick & Morty finally gets renewed BIG TIME, Cobra Kai gets a second season, we get a Rambo 5 update, and a Sherlock Holmes 3 update plus more in news. We briefly hit up Tube Talk where Rebakah talks about the Showtime series "Billion" and why you should be waching it.
