Please support us via http://patreon.com/SUBTXT if you can with just £3 a month so we can continue to support local artists and bring you this podcast! In this week’s episode we introduce a new feature called the Artist Spotlight and the very first spotlight in on our very own Fold, a Leeds-based music collective whose benevolent dictator turns out to be one of us three. Which of us will it be?! Listen and learn. Fold’s mission is to amplify humanitarian perspectives and critical reflections on today’s world so the episode also dives into a lot of that sort of thing. Fold talk about their single Forever War and the powerful video they made for it. In this episode we integrate some amazing feedback from our first episode (thanks everyone) and share details about a community project that we’re putting before the local council in the hope of securing funding next year: a weekly music production workshop for young people of secondary school age. We also discuss our creative processes as musicians, give our usual recommendations (even though its only our second episode) and of course the upcoming holidays. Whatever way you celebrate, have a lovely festive season and thank you for listening.

Welcome to the very first episode of The SUBTXT Podcast! In this one we introduce ourselves, our record label, talk about why we’re doing this podcast and what it all means. The overarching message is that as neurodivergent folk we’re all fed up with social media and have decided to create something that works better for both us and you, the listeners.
