Are you a mom who feels like you're constantly one tiny mess away from totally losing it? (And trust me, there's ALWAYS another mess coming...)
Here's something wild: Your exhaustion and anger aren't actually about the juice spills, crayon masterpieces on the walls, or the 47th interruption while you're trying to pee in peace.
I'm Rachel Skinner Fernandez, and I help moms understand why their cup isn't just empty – it's actually full of holes. Think about it: No matter how many bubble baths you take or how many times your partner "gives you a break," you still feel like you're running on fumes, right?
That's because everyone's telling you to "fill your cup" when what you really need is to patch the holes first. Through my 7-day Break Your Anger Cycle Challenge starting January 1st through January 7th, I'll show you exactly why calming your nervous system is the key to breaking free from that constant feeling of being one meltdown away from your own meltdown. And it will all be delivered straight to your phone through a private podcast (because who has time to watch videos or read while parenting?)
Click the link above to join the challenge and start patching those holes in your cup. Your family (and your sanity) will thank you.

What would it feel like to be able to set an example for your kids on how to regulate their emotions? For your everyday example to teach them the emotional skills they need to show up powerfully in the world? Where they would step into school armed with the skills they need to create strong friendships, stand up to peer pressure, and stand strong in their self-worth? Is that something you would love to be able to do?
Then mama, tune into this coaching session where I walk one mom through how healing her nervous system can help her show up for her high needs son in a stronger, more powerful way.
blessings,
Rach

Whenever seasons change in your life and you’re getting used to new rhythms it’s so important to make sure that you’re really intentional about getting the foundational things in place. Making sure you’re focusing on replenishing your body as you transition from summer into fall is really important to help reduce that anxiety, give your nervous system what it needs to keep you calm, and help you just function better. It’s always a bit taxing on our brains and bodies when we’re going through change, so having these five things on hand will really help with the natural stress that comes from life changes and seasonal changes. These 5 things are easy to keep on hand, can almost all be added to your grocery order each week (or Amazon) and will help really provide a solid support system for healing your nervous system.
blessings,
Rach

Here’s the thing– I think the Church has failed us miserably when it comes to dealing with emotions. And the truth is, I see so many Christian women caught up in this lie that is holding them back from true healing when it comes to emotional dysregulation.
Mom anxiety so often leads to nervous system dysregulation, being stuck in fight or flight, and feeling like you have a mental health issue. You feel like your emotions are out of control and you're stuck in a cycle of losing it and yelling at your kids or husband. So are you just lacking self-control? Do you need to study the Bible more and spend more time with Jesus? Is it just a heart issue?
Today I’m going to talk about why I think Christian moms struggle with mom rage on such a large scale and why it comes with such a heavy mantle of shame and guilt. And then we’re going to really discuss what the truth is surrounding emotional dysregulation from a biblical perspective.
So grab a sparkling beverage and maybe some dirty dishes to wash and let's dive into some TRUTH behind your emotional dysregulation.
blessings,
Rach

Wondering what the heck "mom rage" actually is? Is it yelling at your kids? Raging at your husband? Why does it happen and where does it come from?
Today I'm explaining what it actually is (it's not just being an angry mom all the time--there is so much more to it!) and why it is so common for moms with anxiety disorders. Anxious moms often end up with emotional dysregulation that causes us to feel like we fit in some weird mental health category but it really is not that complicated on what is happening in your brain, mama. It's such a huge part of a out of whack nervous system that is dying to be regulated.
There's a reason why you're facing the emotional rollercoaster that you can't ever seem to escape as you raise your babies. So grab a sparkling beverage and maybe a load of laundry to fold and let's dive into mom rage.
blessings,
Rach
