S8E4 was prerecorded on 22 Jan 2025 to allow me to attend the Green Day, Offspring, and Fokofpolisiekar gig live in Cape Town on 23 Jan the night this show went out on Rebel Rock Radio. And what a gig it was. It seems like forever since South Africa got International bands of that calibre. The last time I was out for a show was for Guns N’ Roses in 2018, and then Covid happened and KISS got cancelled and that was the last time I was at a live gig. So, it was amazing and one of the best shows I have ever seen. Hats off to Fokofpolisiekar who show just how good they are amongst the best international acts in the world
Anyway back to this show. We had all the normal features; Twisted Triplets, Evolutions: Judas Priest, The Immortals, and This Week in Rock and Metal, PLUS The Diabolical Challenge is back. We looked at four albums produced Martin Birch. Heaven & Hell, The Number of the Beast, Rising, and Assault Attack by Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Rainbow and Michael Schenker Group respectively.
Artists featured: Scorpions, Ozzy Osbourne, Emigrate, Def Leppard, Saxon, Rose Tattoo, ACDC, Goodbye June, The L.A. Maybe, Godsmack, Skindred, Fokofpolisiekar, The Offspring, Green Day, Boston, Jimmy Barnes, U2, Nita Strauss, Drowning Pool, Brides of Destruction, Brian Fallon, Judas Priest, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Counting Crowes, The Doors, Rainbow, Michael Schenker, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Kid Rock, megadeth, Thin Lizzy, Halestorm.

If anyone is missing the show notes let me know and I will continue, for now, I’ll let the music do the talking.

TSORR Radio Show S7E50 aired at 19h00 on Rebel Rock Radio on 12 Dec 2024. The theme of the show was moving on. TSORR's days of broadcasting from the wastelands of ANC-run Johannesburg are drawing to a close, and once the relocation is complete in January, we have huge plans for 2025. There is something for everyone here: rock, metal, ballads, and blues, and as always, it’s all about the guitars.
On the Twisted Triplets, we had three tracks called ‘Move On’. The three contributing artists were Paul Stanley, Walter Trout, and David Bowie. In the Evolution of Judas Priest, we are at a high point. It’s 1980, and this is Priest's evolutionary high point—their fish moves onto land moment - British Steel.
The Immortals slot went to White Buffalo and the Forest Rangers and a track off the Sons of Anarchy called ‘Come Join the Murder’.
The Diabolical Challenge looked at 4 albums produced by Kevin Shirley:
The Black Crowes – Shake Your Money Maker
Cold Chisel - Last Wave of Summer
Joe Bonamassa – Driving Towards the Daylight
