Meet our next guest - Marc Roberts! Marc is currently the Manager, Global Account Development at freelancer.com.
This is a career journey we know you're going to love! Marc like many found himself in a job that left him unfulfilled and the conditions we far from desirable. He took himself from working in the remote and frozen oil fields in northern Canada to working from the comfort of his home each day with a hot tea by his side.
Graduating from the Uvaro program in late 2020 gave Marc the tools and knowledge needed to complete the career change into tech. A few promotions later and now leading a team - it's safe to say we're blown away by all the progress in such a short period of time.

Meet our next guest - Yu Teshima! Yu is currently working as the Data and Operations lead at Volley and is an October 2020 graduate of Uvaro.
The period right after university is a challenge for all students as they transition to look for full-time work. Graduating in the middle of a pandemic doesn't make that any easier. Yu found herself in this situation but looked for additional learning that could give her an advantage in the job market. The practical experience that Uvaro offers was just the thing.
