Welcome back to The Sacred Purpose Podcast, today, Lindsey will join us to unpack very important tips in dealing with limiting beliefs and understanding our subconscious mind.
Lindsey Paoli, MS MFT is a former therapist and now executive coach and corporate trainer on a mission to positively impact our current mental health crisis by making proactive mental health approachable and simple. By choosing to work with leaders, entrepreneurs, and directly with companies looking to make a difference, she is taking a top down approach to mental health, knowing the ripple effect of change that is possible through prevention.
She has combined her unique life experiences as the child of a USAF efficiency expert, 10 years of leadership in hospitality on the Las Vegas Strip, and 7 years of education and private practice as a psychotherapist to create her current role of Mind Performance Coach.

When you decided what you really want, start materializing that very thing you want to accomplish or the person you wanted to become by building self trust and create self agreements around it that are in alignment with your values. So when circumstances tries to pull you off course, you will find your way to bring yourself back to integrity and trusting yourself again so you don’t fully abandon your dream. Instances like discouragement came from the people you look up to or you cherish the most in your life. You need help from other people to reflect back into you the vison you once have and believe in yourself.
“Take some time as you look into what it is that you want to create and what it is that you want to accomplish. And creating some agreements between yourself and the way you want to show up energetically, spiritually, physically. The agreements that you've made with yourself to develop and consistently hold that self trust that you have in yourself and your ability to bring this to life and to do it in a way that feels really good and supported considering what you might need along the way.” – Lisa Malia

Finding out the things that inspire and light you up, helps you generate and refine the energy you need to support your dreams. Like doing the things that most excite you or doing things you enjoy. Tending to different parts of ourselves is so important to be able to generate that energy we need to show up. But if we are not mindful of the way we use our energy, it could lead to exhaustion and its sisters preventing us from achieving the alignment we desire.

Every cancer has different types and a variety of life stories to tell. For this episode, LaTonya shares the challenges in raising her NepSon (Nephew Son) and how she told him about her diagnosis. And also the heartbreak of burying your own sister.

“My goal is for people to see what I see, I don't see all the little hang ups that we all have, oh, one is smaller than another or I need to lose weight or whatever, you know, everyone has a hang up, forget that. Nobody I don't, no one sees that, you know what people see is the expression on your face, and who you really are. And so much of that is what I put into my work and that it is not just a photograph, I really take the time to try to work with people to get them to see what I see.” - Nina

She’s a sought-after influencer, speaker, and blogger in the cancer community. Her blog, Life on the Cancer Train, is about the struggles of being a young adult cancer survivor while advocating for better treatments and resources. She became heavily involved in patient advocacy and research post-treatment. In her spare time, she is a consumer reviewer for the Department of Defense Breast Cancer Research Program, a contributing writer for WebMD, and an active member of the AYA cancer community. Megan-Claire and her work have been featured in national press including The New York Times and People Magazine, as well as through numerous patient advocacy organizations.

We are so fortunate today to have Talla Kuperman on our show. She is someone I got to know for the last year when we were working together and called to work on this book that is actually very coincidentally coming out at the same time as this episode. We are seeing the sacred purpose in grief and transforming stories into art today. It's really a testament to everything that we do here on the sacred purpose podcast and the work that we bring out into the world as we go through these different parts of our lives that often don't make sense can't see the other side of it. It is such a gift to receive her words, hear her wisdom, learn from her experience, and see how she has turned this into really honest honoring not only her sacred purpose, but her brother's legacy. Hello Love! I decided to do this episode because I recently was in a conversation with another woman, she is a beautiful soul-aligned business female founder, and I was talking to her about the woman that I work with. And I use this term a resource woman and she stopped me. She said, “what is that? what does that mean?” And so I thought, Okay, let me do a full episode around this because it is kind of a full concept and term that's really actually something that's evolving.
A resource woman, she is someone who has a regenerative flow of resources and one or more areas of her life to use for her personal growth for her well-being to support her family, her community, her business, her projects, organizations, or things that she deeply cares about things she wants to express or create, or just be involved in.
“No matter whether you're in a place of feeling resource, of your feeling in a place of overwhelm and needing support, that matters too. That is what community is for. That so we can all lean on each other as needed. And that is where this resourcefulness comes from and the regeneration comes from so that we do have those opportunities for seasons of rest when we need them. Alejandra Torres Dromgold is a multi-passionate entrepreneur, driven by her vision for a more compassionate, equitable, and sustainable world.
She’s taken leading roles in the reinvention of several organizations, starting with growing her family business – Contempo – from a small company to one of the world’s leading for-benefit corporations, establishing the Colombia Green Building Council, and serving on the board of the World Green Building Council.
After co-founding the Family Business Network in Colombia, she went on to head the Ministry of Environment’s International Affairs Office, where she secured an unprecedented $100 million in global support for the Amazon Rainforest.
Alejandra has been brought on to advise, fundraise, and negotiate for environmental conservation projects with the World Bank in Bogotá, The Nature Conservancy, the SDGs, the Green Climate Fund, the Minamata Convention, and several social impact businesses.
Her latest project is Musas – an online community, academy and investment fund designed to uplift women in their leadership and regenerative entrepreneurship. She is a participant in Shark Tank Colombia, through which she is seeding new female-led, sustainable businesses.
Through her belief that business can be a force for real change, Alejandra is passionate about supporting social businesses building stable foundations to thrive, succeed, and make our world a better place.

I'll dive more into why I've chosen that word, and why I believe it'll support not just me, but also you. After 10 years of chasing an insatiable lifestyle, she experienced a radical awakening and went on a quest to find higher purpose. She found herself on a deep self-exploration journey exploring modalities and retreats all over Bali, India and Peru. She became fascinated by the power of breath and subconscious mind as a catalyst into self-awareness to deconstruct childhood conditioning and social programming.
