There’s an old adage – “buy land because they’re not making any more of it...”
And yet if you have land, keeping ahold of it can be a tricky game. Farmers and ranchers who do some of our most valuable and important work do not have an easy road to making a living – let alone making ends meet.
Enter Landtrust. They are leveraging the idea that maybe what we already have is enough if we can find new ways of sharing it.Watch on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BUsNWPb9ac

We kicked open our plastic lawn chairs and sat down with David Howitt, author of “Heed Your Call” and founder/CEO of the Meriwether Group.
David believes the modern day hero is the entrepreneur – the person willing to launch out into the unknown and face a myriad of challenges to bring to the world a new idea, product or resource that shapes culture, changes lives and brings more good in our communities. In this episode he unpacks this idea and inspires us to leave what is familiar and launch out into the unknown – just to bring something new into the world.Watch on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJgZQxzP4vg&t=1726s
