Egg donation is not a common practise here in Australia.
Many women don't consider doing it unless they are specifically approached by someone they know to do so. So what would it take for you to donate your eggs to help a couple who haven't been able to conceive themselves?
We speak to Stef, who has undergone the full process of egg donation to demystify what it takes to give the ultimate gift to a couple desperate to start a family.
For more information on how to become an egg donor yourself, you can find details at IVF Australia.
