Well, two in quick succession... you must be impressed. Join us once more for another TMIW as we delve into the mad month of January. What a month it's been, even if we are only halfway through it. Today we are discussing the reaching of a Brexit deal (finally), and what post-Brexit Britain will be like. It wouldn't be 2021 if we didn't talk about the hot topic of cOVID-19 and the new lockdown restrictions, as well as what's really causing the rise in cases. But our principal topic is the recent events in the US: as they reel from a violent riot by radical Trump supporters who breached the Capitol building, trying to stop the counting of the electoral votes. What does it mean for the state of Democracy? Who's to blame? did the police react differently to the George Floyd protests in July? And has there been an overreaction from supporters of BLM?
