  • Dr Francis Young is a British historian specialising in the history of religion and belief. As the author, editor or co-author of 18 books, and in his role as a Historian of Religion & Belief at the prestigious University of Oxford, he is an expert on issues as wide ranging as early modern Catholicism to the history of magic and witchcraft. He regularly appears on BBC radio and other media on issues of religious history.

  • Alexander Downer AC who was leader of the Australian Liberal Party from 1994 to 1995 and Australia's longest-serving Minister for Foreign Affairs from 1996 to 2007. He left politics in 2008 when he was named Special Adviser to the UN Secretary-General on Cyprus. He held that post until 2014, when he was appointed High Commissioner to the United Kingdom.

  • Maria Romanenko is a Ukrainian journalist who fled Kyiv when Russia's brutal invasion of her homeland began on February 24th 2022. She is now living in Manchester, UK and has written for outlets including the Guardian, The Daily Beast and Business Insider. Maria also helps Ukrainians in Manchester by running walking tours of the city in Ukrainian, campaigning and raising money for her country and spreading awareness.

  • Philip Ingram MBE is a former senior British Army intelligence officer and widely published journalist, specialising in security, intelligence and strategic planning. Whilst serving with the British Army for over 26 years and leaving as a Colonel, he was the most senior British Army intelligence officer in western Iraq and was involved in operations across the globe including bringing peace to modern Bosnia and in the Southern Balkans, in Kosovo. Elsewhere he has served operationally in Germany during the Cold War, Northern Ireland, Cyprus, Northern Macedonia, Croatia and Iraq.

  • Bobby Duffy is Director of the Policy Institute at King's College London. He has worked across most public policy areas in his career of 30 years, including as part of the Prime Minister's Strategy Unit.
