Mwai and I did a really different thing on this one. We sat down with Henry who is a meditation and Breathwork instructor, we learnt so much about how Breathwork and meditation can be grounding. There were bits that were unclear at the beginning because 'semantics' but we definitely managed to pick it up again. It was such an interesting conversation we hope you can learn from it as we did. We also had Serene Ndovi AKA Btz Hun who is a lifestyle and content creator. It a really good conversation! Enjoy!
-
Mwai and I sat down. To talk about navigating insecurities and life. We both did not realise this was the therapy we both needed. I personally felt really good after and alot lighter. We hope our vulnerability helps you grow and heal like it does for us.

-
Mwai and I value being our authentic selves and thrive to make talking about our feelings and struggles as normal as possible. This was a parked car conversation that we felt was grounding for both of us. We hope you can enjoy it as much as it grounded us both recording.

We are back!!!!! Link in a few. Last year I tapped into Mwai's themes alot and she shares her themes for this year in this Pod. They really kept me grounded! Hopefully they can do the same for you! We had so much fun making this podcast we hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it! Happy New Year. We say this all the time, but here is to aloot more consistency this year!

I had alooot of fun recording this Pod. We touched on pretty much every topic! Excited to share my heart as well as our authentic conversations surrounding mental health, relationships etc. Enjoy!!!!
-
Absolutely love that Mwai and I were able to record in person for the very first time sitting together, next to one another! How exciting is that. Completely stocked for you guys to hear this one. We spoke about Self-esteem among other things. Always grateful that our conversations are super authentic and hopefully can inspire the same out of your conversations with your peers, family etc. Enjoy!!

First of all! SHOUT OUT TO MY MAN for plugging me with a Mic for the podcast. Also Shout out to Kasonde for being a real one! In this podcast I sat down with Tapiwa to rumble about random things. It was such a beautiful conversation I hope you guys enjoy it. It has been such a long time since the last podcast and this episode is definitely something that made the wait worthwhile. Enjoy!

In this epidose Mwai and I sat down with Derek Johns who graciously shared with us on how raising better men looks like. It was a conversation filled with so many gems and so much profoundness. We hope you enjoy and learn from it as much as we did. You can also check out The Dear Son, Podcast on all podcast streaming sites as well as Youtube and IG for content.

Mwai and I sit down and talk about pushing through a difficult season in your life. Processing through difficult emotions qnd finding compassion for yourself during those seasons. We hope that our vulnerability today opens you up to allowing yourself to feel and extending your light into someone's darkness. Happy new year.
-
This title is borrowed from Lisa Bevere's book because it so profoundly reminds me of Mwai's journey of courage this past year. I realise in the episode I mentioned it was from Brené Brown, my bad. In this episode we speak about courage, the holidays, love and being vulnerable while hoping to be understood. We hope you are able to find the people you can be vulnerable around and wish you the very best in the year ahead. Happy new year from Mwai and I. Sending lots of love and light.

Mwai and I continue to have organic conversations and this week we are focused on slowing down and intentionally grounding oneself. We hope that this conversation was as therapeutic as it was for us! Enjoy. -
This episode was more like a phonecall between Mwai and I. Because we've been out for such a long time we figured to just have a conversation between the two of us. This is us with our hearts on our sleeves, raw and authentic the only way to be vulnerable and the best way to heal. We hope you enjoy this as much as we enjoyed the conversation❤️

Motivation is something that most of us struggle with, being consistently productive is not easy. Discipline doesn't always discipline. To achieve success and balance we need abit of both motivation and discipline, be it with our self-care or our careers, relationships etc. We had Rejoice Namale come on and speak about how she stays motivated. She is such a force and heavy on the positively influencing the youth with going after what they want by leading by example. Rejoice is a master of self-development. Here is how you can reach Rejoice through her various social media platforms . Instagram: @reigning_ree_

In this episode Mwai and I were lucky to have Nelly Sabola come on and talk about what self-love looks like for her. We live in a generation where we throw around buzz words in the name of keeping up with the current trends (and selfcare is a thing right now), but what does that really look like? How does one cultivate it? This episode taps abit into that. Be on the look out for a more indepth part two of this pod! Enjoy

In this episode Mwai and I sat down with Manota Mphande who is a recovering addict. We were extremely blessed to have him share with us how his journey looked like then, and now. Probably the most insightful podcast we've recorded thus far. Hoping you can learn and be inspired by it as we were during the recording of this pod.

Over the years, the number of men succumbing to suicide has been 3 times higher than that of women. Men are least likely to seek mental health help and for the most part like to keep things to themselves. Society has convinced men that talking about your feelings and problems is "weak" and this is costing us heavily. In this podcast we try to normalize these conversations and shine a light on the problem that is toxic masculinity and also dig into finding out from a male perceptive why talking is hard. We also touched on GBV since it was recorded during 16 days of activism. I hope you enjoy this as much as we enjoyed recording it and learn from it while continuing to have these conversations in your various community settings and amongst your peers. Like promised in the podcast here are a few contact numbers where you can get mental health help. TOLL FREE - 0888952895/0996527882. CENTRAL REGION ST JOHN OF GOD 0992460253. This is a continuation of the conversation with Mwai, who is a single mother. She shares on her parenting style and how she intentionally parents while also looking out for her mental health. So many gems and profound wisdom from this amazing mother of one. We definitely hope others can relate. Enjoy!
-
Motherhood is a beautiful thing. And because having children has been happening for a long time, we take for granted the challenges and stuggles that mothers go through. On this episode Mwai Wirima, who is a single mother talks about her journey as a mother and how she copes. We are hoping this episode will help other single mothers recognize that they aren't alone, their fears are legit and they should be able to talk about them.
