Some stories stay with you long after the conversation ends. This is one of them.
In this episode of The Impossible Podcast, we sit down with Mikayla, a woman whose path to motherhood was anything but simple. After fighting through multiple failed attempts to get pregnant, she finally received the news she'd been praying for. Then, just two weeks later, everything changed: a breast cancer diagnosis.
What followed was a fight on two fronts — undergoing chemotherapy while carrying her child, holding onto hope while facing the unknown. Her baby was born healthy, a victory she doesn't take for granted. But her story didn't end there. After relapsing twice, she now sits in one of the hardest places imaginable: deciding whether to undergo chemotherapy again.
This conversation is about resilience, motherhood, fear, faith, and what it means to keep choosing to fight when there are no easy answers. Whatever you're facing today, we hope her courage reminds you of your own.

In this episode of The Impossible Podcast, Canadian police officer Jesse David shares his raw, unfiltered journey from a devastating farm accident to becoming an amputee who returned to full patrol duty.
On July 25, 2022, a routine day on the family farm turned into a fight for survival when Jesse received a brutal compound fracture and severe infection.
Jesse dragged himself 400 yards through a wheat field while bleeding out, endured multiple surgeries, the difficult decision for amputation, and a grueling recovery marked by depression, phantom pain, suicidal thoughts, and opiate dependency.
Yet through relentless work on mindset, progressive prosthetic training, and an unbreakable commitment to performance, he returned to police work in just seven months—completing fitness tests, chasing suspects on his first shift, and strategically using his prosthetic in arrests to de-escalate situations and inspire hope.
Jesse’s story is a masterclass in self-leadership, self-forgiveness, mental health, resilience, and turning profound loss into purpose. He now dedicates himself to supporting other amputees with inspiration and practical guidance.
If you are navigating adversity, rebuilding after loss, or pushing toward your own impossible goals, this episode will ignite the fire you need to keep moving forward.
