This one represents a first for GSG - never before have we recorded an
episode while my phone is blowing up with tornado warnings! The only
thing scarier than that is the collection of listener stories we told
while the wind was blowing - three never-before-heard-in-English tales
of German poltergeists, spirits next to the bed, presences in the
basement, and more, all of which are united by one commonality:
They. See. You.

Montgomery County Cocaine Explosion of 1985, and the Massapequa Monster!

Sometimes ghosts take stuff, but what about when they start taking knives? Would you believe they were trying to protect you? That's one of the questions asked by a listener on our latest collection of stories. We also get an update on a not-so-cursed house in Delaware, definitely haunted houses in South Africa, and Paul gets to meet the BPT. You'll have to listen to find out what that is...Links:

Publisher Hank Estrada started the imprint that would become GhostBooks.biz back in 1980s with his husband, the late Antonio R. Garcez. Together, they would go on to publish more than two dozen meticulously researched volumes of Antonio's ghost stories, including "American Indian Ghost Stories of the West", "New Mexico Ghost Stories", "Gay and Lesbian Ghost Stories", and many more.
Though Antonio passed away in 2023, Hank has continued carrying his legacy forward not only by ensuring his books stay in print, but by completing his final volume, the nearly 700-page "Unforgettable Ghost Story Interviews."
Hank joins Brennan and Paul to talk about how it all began, and to share a little of what it was like watching Antonio work. We can't wait to have him back!

This dive into the mailbag is our most haunted one yet! Starting off with a nod to the classic (depending on who you ask) 90s flick "Spawn", Bren & Paul head straight into the darkness with an anonymous contribution from a UK police officer, updates on a haunted house, and so much more. This is a particularly story-heavy Talk Spooky, so enjoy!

If there was one writer who could be said to have had their finger on
the pulse of paranormal activity in New Mexico, it was the late Antonio
Garcez, author of the "Adobe Angels" series and many others. In this
episode, we share stories from his book, "Adobe Angels: The Haunting of
O'Keefe Country", in which Antonio recounted first-person stories from
around Santa Fe, Taos, and the Abiqui region.
We also commit light sacrilege, Paul psychically battles a dog, and Brennan reflects on the very recent loss of a dear friend using, what else, bathroom humour.
Many of Antonio's books are still available through Red Rabbit Press,
an independent publishing company started by Antonio and his husband
Hank Estrada in 1986. Though Antonio passed in 2023, Hank has carried
his legacy forward in both the publishing realm and via public speaking,
information about all of which can be found at https://www.ghostbooks.biz/
