  • This week we take a look at the trends in society, and we ask the question: is the west falling? In a rising uproar and fear mongering state of the political sector, it is pised that our society is doomed. However, with a stoic approach to the trends of the west, there are still plenty of reasons to remain optimistic in such tension.

  • Stoicism doesn’t have to be difficult, because it isn’t a complex philosophy to understand.

This week, we discuss the simplicity of Stoicism and how society can benefit from its simplicity as a whole. Often, when we deal with social, political, and personal issues we overcomplicate things. We seek to find someone to blame and an enemy to hate rather than taking responsibility for those issues in our life. Stoicism offers a simple to understand antidote to these problems, but one that is difficult to practice.

  • This week looks a little different. While our episode duration remains the same, we take a more authentic, less structured approach to this week’s conversation. In this week’s episode, we discuss how we have equated stoic values to the values of a good person. We do not label ourselves as stoics, but as practitioners of stoic principles. Like everything, stoicism is a practice that is imperfect and can always be improved. Life is about being more than stoic; it’s about embodying stoic values and being more than just a Stoic.
