Today on 100% Healthy-ish I'm thrilled to be hosting and chatting with Stephanie Dodier of Going Beyond the Food. I've been on Steph's podcast a few times (including just last week!) and today's my turn to interview her!
She stumbled upon the shift in my work from Food Freedom/Body Love to Healthy-ish and her interest was piqued. She had LOTS fo questions for me about Healthy-ish - what it is, how I came to it, and if it's still anti-diet and body positive, etc. We covered all of that on her podcast last week. Today's episode is an update on my "moonly" challenge - marrying the strategic and the woo of the monthly moon cycles to break old patterns of scarcity, overwork, and feelings of "not belonging". What's been interesting and come up HUGE over the past month is the dichotomy of discipline and freedom.
I tackled it first in my body
and now it's trickling into other areas of life.
But there have been some HUGE lesson around intuitive eating, moderation, balancing NOs and YESes when it comes to food and health.

This is a framework for resetting how you feel in and about your body after a period of high stress or busy-ness, a holiday, or - in this case - summer vacation. Learn how to refocus attention and INTENTION when it comes to your physical body without dieting or setting yourself up for rebound behaviours when the three weeks are done.
I want you you to hear about the three part framework, how we're going to do this differently than you've ever seen or done it before, and how it's going to revolutionize your relationship with your body.

And on today's podcast, I'm riffing on how Healthy-ish is the framework I use to apply this philosophy to how I think we should be approaching self-care and well-being. BUUUUT I struggle to apply it to my work and life flow. I found it while travelling in Europe for 2 months last year but slowly, slowly slowly lost it and it's positive effects over the past year. I continually get caught up in patterns of overwork and scarcity... Doing too much and then burning out.

I wanted to dive deeper in to the Healthy-ish era that I call: healing but sore and a bit unsure. This is the place where most people come to me - stuck in an unending loop of being ready to be intention with their health but then getting triggered by something... falling back into the IDGAF era and staying there until they feel bad enough that they're ready to put intention in, again.
